Friends List

I couldn't find this topic anywhere so I decided to post the thread here. This is the one constant I find to hold true for most players in the game (lets see how many agree)...the friends list needs improvement. The truth of it is ..five friend with 10 alts and my list is full or any combination thereof. I find myself constantly deciding which friend to delete so I an add another, not to mention as the years go by, there is absolutely no way to add all of my friends, much less their alts. How about increasing the list size or better yet if you add a friend their alts can be added as well without counting as another friend on the list. Perhaps friends should be counted as accounts rather than each toon. Networking is a crucial aspect in the game and the friendships created help to keep people interested. What I don't understand is when so much content is dependant on group play ..why not allow players to more easily access people they know or want to group with again ?

Good request. It is my understanding the Friends list size will be increased in Update 14.

Nice ..doubling of the friends list is a good start for something that is long overdue and I am happy about that. Now we will be able to have 10 friends with 10 alts :P or even 20 friends with 5 alts:P Anyone hope they expand it a bit more than that? With all the complexities in this game, I think they can do better on the networking system. Still prodding for.... friends alts don't count on the list..or alts shown on side as on or offline...

The friends list tracks characters only. There is no provision in the game to allow you to track another person's account status (online/offline) or the characters they have on it. There is no plan to add functionality like this.

HI Sapience ..thank you for acknowledging. I can understand some reason why they might not want to develop based on account basis... Maybe, double the doubling then
