We thought it expired 6/3/14 but it still seems to be running.
When does it actually end?

;) “There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.” ~ Hindu Proverb
Would it be possible to announce these things somewhere other than just the Twitter feed? I too was a little surprised to see it still going yesterday and looked all over the website and forums to find no information about it at all.
And while I'm asking for stuff, is there a reason the end time is always so vague (just a date with no time)? The game is played in all time zones and "ends June 5" will mean "I can still do the dailies on June 5" for some people but "it will be over before I wake up on June 5" for others. Not complaining about time zone fairness, just that I think many people like me like to plan out their festival purchases and that plus or minus one day of dailies makes a large difference to what we can target to buy. I don't really see any positive for the end time to be a secret.
There is nothing about the extension in the announcements thread. There is nothing in the opening screens of the game. I found out about the extension through the grapevine, which is really not the way to go about things.
Believe it or not, there are folks who play the game who don't Twit or Tweet or whatever. And they're not on Facebook either. I'm one of them. And until Sapience's post above, I thought the extension ran through Friday, because that was what the scuttlebutt was. So I'm seconding Thrugghelm's request for a specific end time.
I appreciated the extension, but I might have been able to make better use of it had I learned about it sooner. I was tooling around Bree thinking it was over when someone on Regional mentioned it. This has been asked before, and it's not a big thing at all. It's also the appropriate thing to do. Please, please, PLEASE announce these changes on the Forum, as well as social media!
I played a few games of Hobnanigans today. I have a question for veterans of the game. How many wins did it take you to get a white chicken token?
I'm trying to see whether I need to use the mithril. I just want a yard chicken.
it seems the tokens are a random reward for participating. No idea how it works, I got a white token and my team lost the match.
