I cannot post in any other threads either..
Hopefully everyone's patience to get full forum rights will be as long as mine, as I have been waiting for almost 2 months for total forum access! Although I'm not an all the time 'forum poster', I would like to do some posts on my home server...but alas![]()
There is another benefit to being restricted
(and no I am not just kissing someones backside here)
I've been playing and posting for a couple weeks and there is STILL so much I do not know about this game, if I started posting on the other forums I would just ben making a donkey out of myself....

So fun beeing a paying customer and even after 2 month I'm still beeing detained to this forum here.
Hmm, I suppose it's fair, though then again I too have restrictions but I'm not that much of a forum poster on official mmos, what would one have to do in order for the restrictions to lift?
If you give away gold bars, someone will complain they're too heavy.

Might as well face it, I'm addicted to WDN
I hope for your sake you are joking with that statement.
I as a paying customer should write them a mail on their own forums to remind them that I'm only able to post in this forum after 2 months?
Btw: no spam in this forum for once. Did a miracle happen or did a mod wake up from his eternal slumber?
how do i post elsewhere? how many posts until i can post on diffrent threads?
Just Starting Out
If you are a new member, you are temporarily locked out of all other forums. It may be a week or two before you are granted access. This is a Spammer Control feature implemented by Turbine. The wait time may be identified in the Welcome to the Forum email, the forum may have, sent you when you joined.

Officer, Pipeweed and Ale, Arkenstone (formerly – Friends of Frodo, Vilya)
and Star Citizen…
So even if you have a VIP account for years, this ######## restriction apply ?
And you have to post non-sense in a sub-forum you're not interested into to engage a unlock process ?
It's done i guess.
Incorrect. There is no need to post in a subforum, and posting privileges are not gated by being VIP or not. Free players do have some limits, which is done to reduce spam and trolling. Additionally, there is a waiting period upon account creation before being able to post, which is an anti-spam and anti-trolling measure. If you are having a specific issue, please let me know through PM.
So one needs to post here to be able to post anywhere else?
Nobody needs to post here before they can post elsewhere. That used to be the case, but Cordovan changed the restrictions to be more disruptive to spammers and less so to players.
There is a delay between account creation and posting privs, but once you can post, you can post anywhere.

"Why Can I Only Post Here?
When new accounts are created, there are certain restrictions placed on their ability to post to prevent spam and other moderation-related concerns, including harassment and "troll account" creation. If you ever run into an issue where you believe you should be able to post and cannot, please get in touch with Cordovan through the forum here. If you are unable to post there, get in touch with Community/Forum Support through support.turbine.com.
Typically, new accounts should be able to post wherever they would like within a few days to a week."

Moved from Riddermark to Landroval on 2/10/1015!
Out of curiosity, since I seem to be limited to replies at the moment, is there a "quick question quick answer" thread where I can post questions, or do I need to patiently wait until I can start a thread to ask the question that I was hoping to ask instead of this one?
There wasn't one, but there is now:

You should try using a different browser and see if that fixes your issue. We've noticed that Internet Explorer in particular tends to have issues with the forums periodically, then IE updates and it goes away, updates again and comes back, etc. The particular issue seems to be that sometimes IE removes the "post thread" button.
