Welcome to Anor and Ithil: Legendary Servers Launched

Anor is available in the regular game launcher. For the launch, we have set the Story pace at 60% of regular xp on the non-Legendary servers. This number can be adjusted over time.

This weekend’s VIP Event boost on Anor includes +25% Mark Acquisition and Crafting XP, but does not include the +100% VIP XP Boost.

1:45pm Eastern (-5 GMT) Thursday, November 8th:

We are aware that players are experiencing a significant queue to get into the Legendary server Anor. The server has been near or at its available concurrent capacity since launch, so people in queue may experience a longer wait until someone logs out. We are also aware that the queue numbering system is not displaying correctly, but the queuing is taking place as intended.

IN THE MEANTIME, we are working quickly to get a second Legendary server ready. Ithil is expected to be available for log-in tomorrow.

We know many players want to play with their friends, so we will for a limited time be offering FREE character transfers between Ithil and Anor. These character transfers are not yet available, but will be when Ithil opens. Note that other limitations such as wait time between transfers do apply, as do typical transfer naming rules.

We are thrilled and humbled by the overwhelming response today, and are continuing to work hard to maximize server availability.

We will be opening our second Legendary server Ithil to the public at 6:00pm Eastern (-5 GMT) tonight! This should help alleviate queues. Additionally, we will be enabling free transfers between Anor and Ithil tomorrow. We will have more information then.

We have also fixed an issue that was causing the queue (when in effect) from properly counting down.

We have now opened our second Legendary server Ithil to the public! This should decrease server queues. We will also be implementing limited time free transfers between Anor and Ithil in the near future, probably tomorrow. Stay tuned tomorrow for more info.

Thank you everyone for the outpouring of interest and support! Here's an update on a couple of things in the works:

Free Limited-Time World Transfers between Anor and Ithil:

We are actively working to enable free world transfers between Anor and Ithil for a limited time. The intention is to offer a limited but extended time frame to transfer characters on the legendary servers, to help promote server population balance, and to assist people in playing with their friends. Our current plan has us releasing this on Tuesday, November 13th. We'll have specific information on the duration of this offer then.

Server Queue UI Improvement:

We have a fix nearly ready that will correct the current display issue when in a server queue. The queue number will actively decrease over time once this fix is in place. We are currently targeting a patch next week to include this change in addition to some other bug and polish fixes.

While Anor is having periodic server queues at the moment, Ithil is not, so anyone looking to get started in a Legendary server may wish to consider Ithil for now.
