Veteran on Legendary

The description for Veteran says that it will advance the character to 5th level. On the legendary servers is only advances to 4th level. There should be a note about this in the description or the item should advance the character to 5th level. I bugged this but figured I'd post it here too so other people will see it too.

I was thinking the across-the-board xp reduction having an effect in this and on things like the High Elf exiting the intro a level or two behind other races would have been an unintended consequence. Not the case?

Maybe just add a quest (on legendary only) to the first NPC you see after getting into the "real" game world... that will essentially award you the missing XP? Sounds to me that is a bit easier to implement.....

The reduced experience point curve affects the Beorning, as well. The Beorning enters the live world at level 4 on Anor or Ithil; yet enters the others at level 5, when you do the introduction arc as usual, without using the store item. This makes some of the gear granted to a Beorning unusable, since these pieces have a minimum equip level of 5. Thus, it seems, that the store item and the grant to a Beorning on completion of the intro is a fixed amount of xp which gets the overall reduction applied to them. I did not write a bug report on this because I can live with it, but seeing this thread may prompt me to write one.

Aye, this is an issue for High Elves, Beornings, and anyone who purchased the 100 LP "skip intro" thingy. It's more or less only a nuisance, as you can do 2 quests or so, kill a boar or 2, and you would be on level 5 as needed..... but it does mess things up a little as much stuff can't be used till level 5, and new players might get confused. Now that SSG has acknowledged it, and it would seemingly be something easy to fix.... I suspect the next patch will fix it.

Until then, I just hit up a few more boars or wolves so I get to level 5!

Given the SSG response above, it looks like the only "fix" in consideration would be to change the description of the store item.
