Will we ever see ill omens return? I missed it due to having twins
Updating: We are shifting out the anniversary event by a few days, but extending it longer than initially planned.
Anniversary Event (12 years!) 4/23/19@10am 5/20/19@3am
That is a Tuesday, which sooooo happens to be a fairly typical day of the week on which SSG does patches.
Update 23.5 is now on bullroarer....
10 Gold on Anor says you are planning to release a patch that day.
Burglar changes most likely..... but perhaps even.... maybe..... hoping for....the 64-bit client?

Do we have a schedule for when the spring festival encore will be? Asking for an 8yo who is going to be upset with me when she finds out that I wouldn't let her play this week, and now the festival is over....

Hopefully the Yule encore which we still haven't had will come before the Spring encore.

With no 64-bit client on BR it's unlikely. Burgs better get on BR and take a gamble their feedback is in on time.
I'm sure I noticed there was a summer encore mid winter or winterfest in a heatwave last year, one or the other?
Cordovan had said that the schedule wouldn't allow for a Yule Encore to be squeezed in..... I'm guessing the time they normally used for an encore, they used for the Skirmish Ill Omens fest. I don't think they want to have all sorts of events going on at the same time....
A spring encore? While it would be nice, I think the next festivals of Anniversary, Summer, Farmer's Faire and Harvestmath make it hard to fit it in somewhere.... Perhaps August?

I wouldn't count on any festivals having encores this year since none are listed on the schedule. If the schedule was only for a few months, then maybe there would've been some, but this schedule already goes the full year with no encores for any of the festivals listed.
We have been hearing your requests for a Yuletide Festival encore, and have scheduled it for next week:
Yuletide Festival (Encore) 4/16/19@10am 4/22/19@3am

It's been a couple years since I did the Yule Festival so wondering how long the mini-wrapped quest is and does it allow for completion in the 6 days.
Encore!
Sorry, I do sympathize with those who think it's too much. But I can't turn down a freely given encore.
That's great news! First festival ever when I had zero time to play so it's really appreciated we're getting an encore.

We have now made an adjustment to reduce the cooldown on the Storvagun instance in the Yuletide Festival Encore from once per day to once every eight hours. So, every eight hours you will be able to run the instance. NOTE: If you are currently on a once per day cooldown, you will need for that cooldown to reset before you begin seeing eight hour resets. ALSO: The text from the NPC and instance has not been changed, so the text will still mention the original cooldown timer.
Excellent.
Say, while we are thinking about timer adjustments, I know it's early (so plenty of advance notice), but it would be GREAT if you could change the way the timer works on the Poorly Hidden Chest in the Haunted Burrow. It's currently 24 hours after you open it, which results in an inability to open it once per day (due to most people's personal ability to log in at a precise time, and so the time of reset is continually pushing later for them).
I don't understand why it is currently timed this way, but it would be MUCH better if it reset at the standard 3 am reset time, or change the cooldown to 22 hours (or 20 hours) so that there is some wiggle room for people to log in to open it and still be able to open it once per day.
Thanks!
Typically in these kinds of cooldowns they utilize 18 hours. Like the crafting guild experience items, they are 18 hours for small, 2 days and 18 hours for medium, and 6 days and 18 hours for the large ones. Most of the guild crafted items also utilize a 6 days and 18 hour timer. This allows for more flexibility and play time, and in the harvest festival you will have to run a really really tight schedule to MAYBE get 2 additional chest openings in the festival with 18 hours. Hardly an issue considering you don't really get all that much out of them.... but the 18 hours does mean you can open it every day with more flexibility.
