The Story, the Music, the Soundscape

I've just finished the Black Book Epilogue. I am in awe. This is the finest storytelling in LOTRO, to date. And I have often been brought to tears (and sometimes chuckles) by previous story lines in the game.

I also am so impressed by how the music and the soundscape support the story, and deepen its emotional content.

Well done, Made of Lions and Darth Celtics, and the unknown (to me) soundscape creator.

I will be thinking about this story for a long time to come...

I was super impressed with the Epilogue as well and got teary-eyed by the end. Very well done!

What I was most impressed by was how just about every aspect of earlier Black Book chapters (and other plot lines) were relevant and dovetailed neatly all the way to the end, I was very satisfied and admittedly moved by the epilogue too. Looking forward to new adventures!

Thanks so much! DarthCeltics really went above and beyond for the music, composing to the story beats in order to get the timing just right; and to his credit he didn't even get that mad at me when I went in and changed some of the timing at the last minute -- don't worry, I changed it back.

The music for this expansion really is our secret weapon: so many of the story beats benefit from the right song at the right moment, and I can't imagine them without it.

And I'd lob praise right back to MoL (and the rest of the team). Having amazing stories and instances to write music to makes the process much easier!

Can we get DarthCeltics on Spotify so we can put this stuff streaming in addition to YouTube?

I'm just listening to the awesome music and while it'll take me some time to get to Mordor, I can't wait. Thank you for upload!
