Are the prices for quest quick travel via mithril ever going to go down in the older areas like they use to do?
According to how this was originally done, only the latest areas would cost 5 mithril coins to quick travel to the quest destination. In this case, at the time of this post, that would be the areas released with the latest expansion, Minis Morgul. The rest of Mordor still costs 5 mithril coins and it came out over two years ago.

I had that same problem going through there a month ago.
for an area like mordor it should have gone down, we'll take a look.
It should have gone down, everywhere except Minas Morgul content. This is just one of the ways that the game has significantly changed since SSG took the steering wheel. The same applies to all those crafting ingredient crates they sold to players. Again, since Mordor, ingredient use has been excluded from previous crafting tiers, where as before, when a new crafting tier hit, we could use ingredient packs to craft the vast majority of items in the previous tiers.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you look, there is no best light.
You can still craft SOME items with ingredients packs. For instance, now that they fixed the woodworkers minstrels instruments recipes, those can be made with ingredients packs. Bind to account of course. And other minor things (as opposed to the armour and equipment recipes we can only get with Reclamation boxes), like RK chisels, or captain's armaments, and so on. However, we USED to get lesser recipes for armour and equipment that could be made with ingredient packs (and no damned shards), and that is long long gone. Was Westemnet the last of that. Or maybe, Anorian.

Quest travel in Mordor for quests that are not tagged as the Black Book of Mordor should be at the lower price. The Black Book of Mordor quests span Mordor and Minas Morgul and remain at the higher price for quest travel.
So if the quest that you are doing is not a BBoM quest and it's still not the lower price, then that's a bug.
I think youre overpricing this and make it less used, thus generating less income from MC sales...
I am ok to invest 1 MC (equal to 8 LPs if bought from store) when the return trip is very tedious, but 5? No! I rather walk. That is 40 LPs after all (and 30 still if bought from 25% MC sale)...

I've had that exact thought. Might look at that price point and ponder whether enough folks might use it at 2 or 3 MC instead of 5 to still make it financially viable.
I've never bought a travel for 5, but have used MANY at 1.
Brandy: Cupcakes of Doom.
Landro: Trueheart Companions.

I don't agree with this. The Black Book of Mordor quests in Mordor should be lowered because it's part of the older expansion. The expansion is old enough now to where people regularly have alts going through.

Ahhh, I did not realize that the BBoM quests in Mordor would still be at 5. I can understand this from a business strategic decision for various reasons. I would suggest though that perhaps if they were 2 instead of five, I might use them. Right now, 5 is too high for me.
But perhaps others are using them? Supply and demand then.

So, if I'm currently doing the Black book quests, around Gladden fields etc, I would need to pay 5 MC to travel to NPC's. Seems fair, as it's current content, but why then, do rewards I receive while doing those quests, break down to motes, and not embers? Surely they are either current, which means they would break for embers, or they are not, which means MC travel would be set at 1MC?
