I just implore the team to consider that there are likely still many players who have a laptop with 1366x768 resolution out there. I have found that there are more and more items that I can not properly inspect, for example the new chest piece (or any of the set armour pieces) then add trigger essences and you have a good portion of the UI off screen. So a wide UI would be much more appreciated that the variable sized vertically expanding ones.

I have the same issue on my new laptop, that is not too small & with fairly high resolution. There are many objects that when i inspect i can't see the whole UI. Need to start doing more UIs that expand to the sides instead column shaped.

Cool designs guys! I'm hoping they'll use a dedicated window for it like the current system does. Anyway, here's my initial thoughts on the layout:

Looks great actually. I'd prefer to see the stats right away without needing to hover. I really hope SSG doesn't push the current panel onto live.

That's mainly why I like your design. All the info is right there but uncluttered & organized.
I hope next iteration (whether it is next week or the one after that) comes with some progress on the UI side.

Thumbs up I like the wider, one panel design

I think it's a good idea that we be able to share our LI builds in the various chat channels, just as we can do now. And I hate the scrolling up and down necessary with the current SSG design. I have arthritis is my right-hand fingers and scrolling has become more difficult and now it's painful too.

Wanna clarify here, while the UI ingame isn't up to our internal mocks, it's not wildly different. We're appreciating the feedback and suggestions we're getting here and will look at them for future iterations. But I don't want folks to feel too surprised when we don't completely shift our UI when this goes live.

That's a shame, but at least you have enough suggestions (marvelous ones, if I may say so!), to improve it the near future, when you will have more time in your hands, because lets face it, your implementation seriously lacks in various aspects.

Receiving communication that it's something actually planned still helps. Removes the uncertainty on "to what degree" there is future tweaks and final touches planned for this new revamp.

It's easy enough to say that SSG is planning future changes, but being able to look and specific aspects and know they're not the final version really helps.

Looks at all the pvp'ers from the past two years...

Honestly, there's almost certainly small fixes that could dramatically fix PvMP experience for LOTRO but it requires system/item developers having a full understanding of how it actually works.

Right now it's been frustating as f***ing hell being told everything is essentially on hold until this LI revamp gets done- and that's because fixes to the actual game require Vastin's input.
