Enhancement Rune boxes from Epic Quests bestowing wrong level items

I discovered after doing the class trait points in E&G and receiving the enhancement rune boxes and Tracery boxes that had been added to the epic quests, that some of the boxes are giving incorrect level items. Opening a lvl 86 Enhancement rune box gave me multiple minimum level 116 runes and 131 runes, this is while opening them on a lvl 87 character. Will bug report it shortly but was having issues loading it earlier. Thanks

This is actually working as intended. Item Levels and your character level aren't the exact same number - there're a lot more item levels than there are character levels.

Respectfully, that's not the problem here.
Player's toon is 87, and from boxes that come from lvl 86 content player's getting things they can't use until lvl 116. That's a wide gap - in lvl and ilvl.

To wrap this up, folks confirmed this is an issue because of the Tavern, not indicative of actual in-game experience.

To further clarify, the rewards for the Epic Quests are scaled to the level of the quest, not the character. Because Bobo bypasses the level requirement, the rewards can possibly scale outside the character's usage of them, which is what happened here.

You will have the same experience in the Epic Cat room if you use the NPCs there to complete the Epic Books.
