    Undocumented PvMP Changes

Unsurprisingly, PvMP gear still hasn't come around, but those still seriously expecting it probably won't be too upset because Santa Claus doesn't usually magically bring presents until December anyway.

That being said, some stuff I'd love for Raninia or Vastin to clear up, because there's some undocumented changes on creepside, either coming from some tweaks in PvE land (because goodness knows we've been unintentionally messed with enough times) or a deliberate small buff to compensate for the sledge hammers that are the new LIs/Gear.

These are a couple of things I scouted out from Live to BR (I did not take screenshots or take exact measurements because I'm not going to put in a couple of hours of work on PvMP feedback anymore for obvious reasons):

Here are a few changes that I don't believe are too drastic/upsetting:

    1. Critical Rating has gone up, making it easier to cap and increasing Crit Mag.
    2. Finesse has gone up by a few percent.
    3. Critical Defense has gone up by 10% or so
    4. Mits have both gone up by 5% or so. It's easier to cap mits now. I feel like this may help compensate for the increase of damage, but not sure.

Here are a few that raise some serious questions:

    1. Mastery seems to have increased by 20%. This is a serious problem as it seems to cap out at 446%, meaning for a lot of situations, flipping another Outpost, adding another mastery corruption does absolutely nothing. Glass builds on Creepside were already noticeably weaker than mit builds (the buff to mit corruptions with BPE/Resist, and Mastery corruptions set bonus/stat boosts being notoriously weak). I'm all for slower time to kill, but this needs to be matched by a reduction in both Creep and Freep healing ability!
    2. Block, Parry, and Evade have all been buffed, as have partials. This one is seriously obnoxious for Freeps that don't have high levels of finesse, and it's gonna be a little worse. I do not know the accessibility of high levels of Finesse for Freeps, but this one may be a problem.
    3. Resist has been buffed to the point to where I almost have capped Resist on Warg without any Tactical Mitigations/Resist corruptions slotted, and no Warleader buffs (only the delving pot). Again, this could prove to be very annoying for Freeps without high levels of finesse.

    ----

My-no-so-educated opinion on this (I've not contributed much in group fights) is that a decrease in BPE/Resist, and raising the Mastery cap slightly for Creepside may be the play here for short term return on investment, but I'm curious to hear what other Creeps/Freeps have to say. I also don't really know what the new gear/LIs are going to look like for the Moors- I assume the worst.

Also, for crying out loud, remove the use of backdoors in combat.

It is the same for Freep builds on live server. Using any sort of glass build(at least for any of the classes I play) is horrendous even in group play. Specifically, most classes have to go way over cap on physical mitigation and get high tact mit as well. Moors buffs help a bit by giving some physical mastery to allow for stacking Mits.

Finesse with the new LI’s won’t be a problem. You naturally get some extra finesse from the new LI legacies.

For the freep classes that lost out on buffs from this update, undoubtedly any buffs to creeps will hurt. However, Hunters/Wardens/Burgs/Beorns are noticeably stronger so we’ll have to see how it shakes out.

Wanted to chime in and add my thanks for bringing this to our attention!
Just to give a little extra info... Some early work for the upcoming Gundabad level cap increase accidentally made it into monster play stats on the Preview server.
We will be walking this back, however we will be modestly boosting some Creep corruption stats and buff/debuff stats with U30.3 release due to the new Legendary Items that will be available to Free Players.
The new values will be present in any future Bullroarer builds.

Sounds great. Can we look forward to another year of gv camping? It's been great for pvp, as the last year has shown, having all action between gv and the trees. The occasional pushes to TRBD offer the nice and occasional variety in action that we all appreciate and consider a treat.
