Travel through Moria has been made significantly easier over the years. I think adding more would take away from the experience.
"The internet is a bubble dominated by the loudest, most unrepresentative voices; an infinitesimally small minority of a minority which, deaf to reason and the opinions of others, deludes itself that somehow it is the voice of the majority. An infinite echo chamber of shrieking, witless banality."
"Everyone draws the moral line of what's acceptable just slightly below what they're actually doing."
"Er gwaetha pawb a phopeth. Ry'n ni yma o hyd."
I started to tell you how to get to Moria, but just realized that you were talking about internal travel. I second that! In particular, there are a couple of quest hubs (Orc Watch/Flaming Deeps) that do not have fast travel from 21st. This is highly annoying.
I Talking about to travel and not Raids or Dungons or Gameplay. Moria was from Release on Easy to Play.
And Moria have 1 Port for Hunters in the 21th Hall, what you talking about ?
Dont write anything when you have nothing to say.
Moria need more Fast Travel, its not funny when you play the 8th Twink and run Hour over Hour from A to B.

Updating Moria to have a better travel system in general is on my list of long term goals (eventually, I'd love to revamp all regions to modern travel standards). But... revising travel is a lot of work and takes a back seat to other projects on my plate.
Yeah thanks but its good you have it on Radar.
Any player who does the book with the twink will thank you.
I love Moria but the Travel System is really bad, nobody likes to travel for hours and when you get offline you think: hmmm wow i did 4 Episodes of the Book in 3 Hours amd the most Time i Travel in Moria from A to B

You know what would be REALLY cool as a sightseeing option? Very long-distance slow travel options.
Like going from Durin's Hall to Jarnfast?
There might be 20 routes or so that would make sense ... and you would just have to serialise the already existing slow travel routes for that to work!
Perhaps I can interest you in the general idea.
Return to 21st hall and swift travels to Orc Watch from 21st hall and Shadowed Refuge are the only travel options I'll agree to.
Anything further would just take away from the experience as mentioned above.
...okay, maybe a swift travel option from Shadowed Refuge to Endless Stairs and back without death traveling.
You have a goat that lets you swift back to camp stationed at Dar Narbugud but that only works one way.
Would be interesting to see Foundation of Stone get the Everswim treatment and all goats link to each other like the boats....
Make it EXTRA SLOW speed and allow us to pause the steed, nice for sightseeing and screenshotting too. Maybe, no matter whether we're hobbit/dwarf/man, a bit mightier, higher breed of the steed too? so we get a bit higher camera above ground. Although... now I probably talk stuff that's more complex to implement so it's better to invest time in other things, such as delivering a higher above ground camera to begin with (plus maybe other alternative heights for camera we can use/enable as skills/steeds, so not just one fixed option).
I like this idea. TBH I would almost prefer you (Scenario) don't spend time revamping travel routes in Moria because it means we'll have to take our characters back in there to rediscover all the stable masters.
As someone who is playing mainly on a non teleporting class on Treebeard right now (where Moria is the current content, I honestly don't find the travel routes to be bad. I can get anywhere I need to in Moria relatively quickly. Sure a few destinations require slow rides, but who cares, players can either afk quickly or enjoy the scenery as they ride through Moria.
Servers: Treebeard | Arkenstone | Landroval
Classes: Hunter | Champion | Loremaster | Warden | Beorning | Guardian | Captain | Burglar
Creeps: Warleader | Reaver
Reminder that there are a lot of stables which have a needlessly long slow ride before the fast travel.
Also, I'd love to see a way to travel from any known stable to any other known stable route. Like, keep the existing local flavour routes and then have a button on the bottom which opens up your stable collections panel and you can click a destination and travel there (without MC).

Yea.... I would not want to take away from the story line and how the quest line guides you around the zone. I think the Orc Watch and Flaming Deeps might benefit from a Fast Stable route, but I also think you should only get it after completing certain quests or quest lines, so basically an "after the fact" kind of thing so you can easily return there now the quest lines have gotten you in that direction.
The return to skill should be limited to 21st hall only, ONE return to skill per zone/expansion is more than plenty really. I know some have two (such as Gundabad I think) but in general 1 is fine.
I do believe the game would benefit from some more Eriador return to skills:
Return to Esteldin: Purchasable using in-game gold from Rangers of Esteldin reputation vendor when Kindred.
Return to Tinnundir: Barterable using Silver Arnorian Coins
Return to Suri-Kyla: Purchasable using in-game gold from Wardens of Anunimas reputation vendor when Kindred.
Return to Aughaire: Purchasable using in-game gold from Council of North reputation vendor when Kindred.
Return to Gloin's Camp: Purchasable using in-game gold from Rivendell reputation vendor when Kindred.
Return to Thorenhad: Purchasable using in-game gold from Rivendell reputation vendor when Kindred.
Return to Echad Dunnan: Awarded on completion of "Silent And Restless (Final)" quest line.
I think all the travel skills from Lothlorien and onwards are just fine, it is just the Eriador ones that miss some. And they should not be available before Kindred in my opinion, people need to learn the game and regions before they get a return to skill. High level people that have been there before can just use rep items (after doing the satisfying quest for them).

It's great to see all the older regions getting revamps (as a note, why aren't the stable-master updates highlighted on the release notes? Like IIRC the Yondershire patch notes didn't mention revamping the Shire travel routes even though that's such a huge thing). Personally I'm hoping for Forochel and Angmar to get revamped next, but a Moria revamp would be amazing, make my favorite region even better.
Speaking of, two things related to travel skills:
1: Return to the 21st Hall skill please?
2: Why is "Return to Michel Delving" LOTRO store exclusive for non-hobbit races? All the other racial return skills (Return to Thorin's Hall, Return to Rivendell, etc) can be purchased from reputation vendors, but the Mathom Society has no such return skill.
(Also just to agree with the post above me, I'd love to see reputation-faction Return To skills added to all the Eriador regions. Forochel, Angmar, Evendim, etc)
