There is a lot of information that has to be entered every time that used to auto-populate and having to essentially leave the game to do it is also more work than before. My biggest complaint though is losing the ability to right-click and report harassment. Reporting this should be fast and easy and it most definitely isn't now.

Not every developer reads the message boards and often we miss bugs like this because of the general traffic of the message boards.

    Is there a chance you could address the idea of making the process of even submitting a ticket to be less of a headache? Or any hints about when there will be an acceptable amount of trained GMs answering the tickets in a manner other than closing a lot of them?

    Agreed! The following information is either already known by the client, or as part of the account, or should be stored with the account:

    • Preferred Language: This should default to the last value this account used for a bug report, if any. Otherwise default to the client language. (Or, since one assumes this form is localized to all the supported language, should just be the language of the form.)
    • Platform & Product: The client can automatically detect the platform, and the client knows what product it is.
    • Operating System: The client can automatically detect this. (Since SSG knows OS usage statistics, the client almost certainly already does this.)
    • Contact Full Name: Populate from logged-in account details
    • Account Username: Populate from logged-in account
    • Free to Play / Premium / VIP Membership: Populate from logged-in account details
    • Character Name: Populate from logged-in character
    • Character Level: Populate from logged-in character
    • Character Race: Populate from logged-in character

    • Location: Populate from client state


    Since Reporting a Bug is done via a web page, these could be passed as query parameters by the client if available and/or loaded from the account. Since the number of people who will fill out a bug report almost certainly goes down the more time (and redundant questions) a bug report takes, the only reason to force submitters to enter all of this for every bug is if you want fewer bug reports.

    Yes, I understand the forums aren't the official spot for bug submissions. It's the change in functionality for the bug/help system that came with the new separate log-in for support. It seems likely that that change came from above SSG but if not, restoring the easier way of reporting bugs and requesting support would be much appreciated. Thanks for your reply.

    I freely admit I've backed off from submitting multiple bugs, many of them landscape bugs, because of the new system's increased hassle. Not having all of the available information auto-populate is a drag.

    the /bug ( for me at least, ) opens a login page. This login refuses my password. I can log in fine to the game, and to the forums, but cannot proceed on a /bug.
    I haven't been able to do a bug report in over a year.

    1.Per pixel lighting bug in Stangard the lights in random places across the town disappear when turning the camera and in this case don't even come from the campfire just random spots next to the campfire on the ground.(this is the same place just slightly different camera angles)

    4.Confimation and addition to other guys report from Snowbourn and Garsfeld-firstly in both towns some of the building have become charred-secondly-both have random snowy and plain rocks mixed in with the brown this doesn't only apply to the towns but also all of the sutcrofts and norcrofts (Rocks in Garsfeld and Sutcrofts fixed but Norcrofts are still snowy and still burnt houses but no longer houses with a mix of both so maybe intended?)

    @Scenario what is your stance on these types of bugs/errors

    1.Specular highlighting/glow map error-do you class them as errors?-do you want to fix them or would it be better to just make a new texture or just leave it as is?

    2.Per pixel lighting-flashing

    3.Per pixel lighting overly bright light or shadows

    4.Lighting with no source

    5.Texture clipping/fighting

    6.Small errors eg the net in the roof or misaligned assets eg sometimes 2 sets of stairs are not connected equally so one side sticks out

    7.The changing textures which I can only assume is intended to reduce load on server so I guess not an error?

    I report them but don't know if your team is interested in fixing them or have the resources to do so (and in the case of the per pixel lighting thing I presume it would require some changes to how it works but idk)

    Some Errors for Western Rohan places I've been to in advance are (Gundabad, Elderslade, Ered mithrin, Wells of Langflood, Angmar, The Great River and all of Rohan) however I'm pretty sure the rock texture below comes from Wildermore

    Nice job with all the recent fixes especially with the Falconers tower and it seems that you have also touched the Vales of Anduin, Wells of Langflood and Angmar; however like last time the Vales and Langflood both have new texture errors hiding under the old errors.

    Areas I've been-Breeland, Angmar, Ered Mithrin, Vales of Anduin, Wells of Langflood, Imlad Morgul, Gundabad, North Downs, Rohan and both, Anoriens

    2.You removed the ice but some of the darker rocks still remain and the partially snowy rocks remain even though they are intended(even though I think look out of place as every other rock isn't snowy but that's just my opinion) I think maybe their texture has changed a little to have more snow than at launch but I don't have any old screenshots as proof so maybe I'm going mad after looking at the last updates Vales for so long(again as posted above on original texture post for vales)

    These are some of the still present error after the Patch in Angmar (as at least one error was fixed with the brown rocks near Imlad Balcorth) some of which I have posted before

    1.Firstly a non Angmar one but didn't fit in the other post-rocks in the North Downs around Annundir in the river have the specular highlighting error
