wow, this is certainly the end of an era, not only is Patience just a virtue (if you get the reference then you've been here a while ;)) but now we'll lack some of the wisdom these forums have had...
MoL, you are the worst, and I mean that in the best way possible:D
well played sir, well played.
just remember, if you do get in to the beta, while under NDA it's exactly like fight club: you don't talk about it.
A Beta is never late, it arrives precisely when it means to.
I've never actually used them as calendar, I think if you offered a calendar and non-calender version that would be best.
thanks for the laugh man, this is the kind of rant I like.
book 9 has something of a point to it, book 10.... well, I suspect you are not going to like it and all of Wildermore's overarching...
to the OP, I guess there is something of a miscommunication between you and Turbine. you are taking the word "represents" to mean "represents me" like a congressman in the US or MP in Britain...
I will not be pre-ordering the next expansion regardless of how tempting the various bundles might be, nor will I be spending actual money once it launches but use free VIP TPs but that is another...
Hello all! A few months ago Sapience and other Turbine employees took part in a gaming marathon and this community really came through so I figured I would let you all know that starting this...
no, you can't change your character's origin but unless you plan to RP and it's important for your character's story it really makes no difference going forward.
the only reason I'd get Kindred with the Miners is for the goat, only problem with doing that is that by the time you reach Kindred you will probably be done with, or close to being done with, Moria...
welcome to the game! hope you enjoy it and stick around.
honestly, this is a hard choice because both classes fit your prefrences very well. I guess the question is do you want to giggle like a little child while dealing massive damage and heal fellowship...
you'll note the parentheses :)
based on your forum join date I'm guessing you weren't around before Moria launched (I could be wrong of course) but as someone who was around at the time I can assure you that LIs bear little...
welcome to the game OP, hope you like it. I would just like to point out that I disagree with the above statement, LIs are frankly one of Trubine's biggest foul-ups, as advertised they should have...
I guess the name of the rating is a bit misleading, but it affects all healing done to your character from skills (possibly pots aswell, I'm not sure on that) regardless of the source character. in a...
first of all, welcome to LOTRO. as to F2P, the other shoe will most likely drop around level 32 when you run out of free content to play and find leveling becomes a massive grind of skirmishes and...
I think it's likely you are seeing inactive characters from your kinship, often people leave or create characters that they abandon but don't delete and are thus unfamiliar.
the short answer is: no, group content is not an efficient way to level, there isn't enough of it and more importantly it does not generate enough XP though you can quest in a group, that said, if...
while the Warden probably is the only class in game you could play reasonably well with a console controller it's not a great idea.
as to gameplay, playing a Warden is like playing a card game...
if in bree just type in the regional chat channel that you are looking for a kinship to join, you'll probably get a few invites, in soviet LOTRO kinship finds you! (sorry, couldn't resist).
I didn't delve too greedily and too deep into that game, after all I'm not a Dwarf, but the begining at least had missions, or so I recall, so I guess not quests per se, but activities with set goals.
