Yeah, too bad all they probably had to do was tell the game to make them x number of pies and presto, let there be pie. They probably did not have to slave over a hot oven all day long like the normal cooks have to.

All of my characters on my home server won, as well as most of my chars on other servers, except for my low-level minstrel on Landroval. There'll be a big apple pie memorial gathering when I get home tonight .

So did I, but then I saw the news about 10 seconds before I saw the lottery, so the connection was kind of obvious. I didn't expect the winnings to be quite as generous, not having participated in the lotteries before, nor did I expect all my chars to win, but maybe I should've expected it at 5 a.m. local time (my main server is a german language one), so I'm still determined to gather all my characters' apple pies and spread them around my in-game friends tonight in the spirit of this particular lottery.
