I cannot progress on this quest, I've tried logging out, abandoning the quest and reaccepting but nothing seems to work. When I enter Zurr-thurkh Orvar doesn't spawn anywhere in the instance. Does anyone know if theres something specific I'm not doing? Thank you in advance.

I don't know what (if anything) you are doing wrong, but I will just note that when I recently (as in two weeks ago) did that quest I did not have any problems whatsoever, so while it is certainly possible that you have run into a bug it does not seem to be something which affects everybody.

Same problem. I usually find him just before the next part of the instance, but I can't find him anywhere, now, either. I've done it a couple times before on alts, but I can't proceed, either. Trying to log out again and restarting, seeing if that helps. If not, ticketing it and hopefully a GM responds tonight.

edit: interestingly, I had the same problem (NPC not spawning) during another part of the epic. Logging out and restarting worked in that case, so I hope it does so here, too.

I have the exact same problem, I've restarted, logged in & out but still no change.

I just had the same problem but exiting and reentering the road ended up spawning him.

I haven't had this problem with the characters that have passed Moria and Lothlorien, but I've had quite similar problems with the second character I leveled in Rohan, like an NPC not appearing, or an NPC being stuck in the middle of a quest. Unfortunately, the only guaranteed solution to this problem is to cancel the quest, and do it all over again. In addition to the lost progress, you will be also on a five-minute cooldown, but the only other way to do it is to wait a game master to help. Thus, you will have to weigh in which will be longer - a game master to respond, or to restart the quest.

I had this problem happen to me too. At first I kept leaving and restarting the instance, but I ended up submitting a ticket and the GM was able to spawn Orvar for me while I was in the instance. Hope it works out for you!

I'm having this problem too, just another of the many, many bugs in the Moria epic.
