Working but wonky.

I entered all characters on the token lottery. I did not pay attention to the names (I will in the future), just selected all and submitted. 2 characters won. This is where it is wonky. One of the winning characters (<name>, Lvl 29 Burglar of Windfola) was transferred off of Windfola more than 3 years ago to Landroval (and is now level 36).

So it appears that the Lotto character data is using some view of the character database that shows all the characters past and present for a given server rather than an active view.

Oh, and I did check to be sure it wasn't just a display issue, that character on Landroval did not get the prize.

What I am not certain of is if that character was represented properly on Landroval as well. I'm going to audit the character list more carefully on the next active lottery.

The next test lottery immediately afterwards (8 hours, no prizes) worked smoothly: the page updated to display which toons were entered.

Lotteries are built, then prizes added. If you happen to check while prizes are being added and the lottery was set to start at a time before the prizes were done being added, you'll see this.

I'm not sure if it's just that the Lotery character data has not been completely updated yet but, my lvl 85 character does not show up as available for today's lvl 85 lottery. My 2 lvl 8 toons are eligable for the "under ten" lottery however.

Yesterdays little fish lottery (sorry cant remember the name that was given) for starters, lv1-10 showed me that the lottery data is being updated frequently as I created a RP char on landroval for a kin project and it was already included in the lottery a couple of hours later...

Didn't win anything...

These would've been nice things to have, but they never showed. I thought at first maybe the Lottery mailings weren't bumped to the new mailbox timer, but a level 9 on yet another server got their little ring and pittance of silver and showed the proper time on that email.

So... as someone else put it, still kinda "wonky".

Sapience stated that a schedule was never actually intended and I believe he stated we would not be going back to a schedule, but I could be wrong on the second half.

Be kinduva shame to have them get lotteries working again, but have no idea when to check for new ones. I loves me some lottery goodness, but I'm not gonna live on the lottery page waiting for occasional random postings.
