BR Coming Up This Weekend?

I was able to patch an update just now, but it says it's closed. Is BR coming up this weekend?

Apparently it's patching yes, so I guess BR will be up soon (couple of hours before it said "CLOSED"). A week ago BR was up apparently 1-2 hours later than it is now, so I guess the same goes for today.

Is Bullroarer up and running? Because everytime I try to start up the launcher I either get "Installing pre-reqs" or "Loading launcher configuration" (now this is a new one for me:P).

Any help appreciated!

Seeking confirmation about this. Would like to know so I don't waste time installing a test server that will not be available.

I would also like to know, seeing as the content on the way is largely to do with beorning, we get to road test the beorning class/race yes?

blah got me all excited, then i went to update and big old CLOSED all over it : then came back and saw dates on this thread...

hint: they run on a 4day on 3 off kind of cycle, once its off, try not to add to a previous build post,, easier to keep them seperated then.

to answer the question, keep downloading, it WILL be up we just dont know WHEN.

Yes, B1 the testing focus was Beornings. B2 the focus was on the new Battle, also how Beornings did in the new Battle, and many people made new Beornings and tested other content with them.

There's never a guarantee with testing, as anything could go wrong at the last minute and not be addressable before close of business, or they not have a need of public input currently because of a change in direction, or whatever. However it was not wasted to download the beta client, for when the new build is available and the server brought up, it won't take as much to update and test.

Note, you'll want to ask in /world how to get TP from the Eyes & Guard Tavern (accessible across from the jail in Archet or door across from the stable guy at Thorins Hall). Then you'll need to mock purchase the Beorning class from within the beta client (see sticky thread above about TP on beta, it's play money).

If/when the beta server does become available, check this forum for release notes and testing focus. /bug problems you find.

Ye you can test the beorn... the lasst 2 buildss they wanted us to naturally level one, so start at level 1 and go... but eventually they will also want us to test high level content and most likely allow us to auto level them. Also please do not feel the beta client is a waste... from now on since you have it, you can test whatever updates are coming (when they hit beta) and maybe get an invite for closed betas (if they have them)

Please do not ask on world and clutter it up with simple questions that can be answered by reading the stickies at the top of the beta forum... take the 5 minutes to do so.. especially this thread

The winch no longer is talking, now the labourer says progress on the gate.
The second (barricade/ballista) fight is now working!
The Backs Against the Wall side quest now has fighting.
The barricades are repositioned to be more plausible.
The suicidal named NPCs actually help.
Good stuff.

PS: You can actually test stuff to know what's different regardless of release notes.

Yep, and I'm doing so, but without something to focus the testing (and having already redone the Beorning introduction, and about to do the Big Battle), it leaves me at a bit of a loose-end with regards to what to look at next.
