Please remember that all aspects of this program are confidential, so if you have been invited to join please do not post here or anywhere else stating so.

We thank everyone for applying, and if you didn't get invited this time around you are welcome to apply again at any time. Thank you for your patience - we've been working through some rough spots over in QA and unfortunately getting new members into the program needed to be placed on hold until the issues were resolved.

Please note this notice applies to all applications sent before June 11, 2014. If you applied on or after this date we have not processed your application yet and it is being held for the next round of reviews.

Out of interest, who is looking after this program now that Kehleyr is rumoured to no longer be at Turbine?

Not interested in being a tester but if you want to look at a program using fan-based development, I would be up for that.

I have got 1000s of hours of experience with two professional level game design tool kits and have been involved in game design in various ways since 1985.

The first post by Kehleyr says that they are currently accepting applications but I am just curious when they are shutting down application time and responding to applications already sent in. I figured that they would when they got back form vacation in the new year. But according to Kehleyr earlier it says that they sent first round application responses for 2014 around the 23rd of January so there may still be another week or so.

One reason I asked was because there is still no (official) replacement for Kehleyr in the forums. So it is possible they forgot to update the current application status.

I have strong suspicions that after Kehylers lay off that the program is suffering a little. Frelorn is currently juggling CM and Beta, so I would 'suspect' that IF Palantir is still ongoing that he would be in charge of that as well... purely based on my opinion and not any facts. That would be a fair bit to manage, and frankly Turbine may have made the choice to just release straight to Beta after internal testing, to save stretching staff too thin, and also to save costs and get things released quicker - yes, at the cost of quality.

Perhaps they weren't getting enough value from Palantir, IF the above is true.

Of course, it's unlikely answers will come, as announcing the program is closed would likely be a bad omen - best to just act like it's running as anyone in it would be under NDA anyway, so those NOT in the program wouldn't know it isn't running.

All theoretical naturally, but lack of invite responses etc with U16 looming doesn't look good. Time will tell.

Just to make sure that I understood your message correctly, there's no point in sending in an application at this moment and we have to wait until you/someone posts a request for applications?
Or can we just email the application and we'll be in the selection process next time?

If you e-mail it in now, nobody will have a chance to even look at it until after the closing world server transfers are underway. If you hold onto your application until I post again to this thread to announce timing for the next round, then it definitely won't get misplaced or overlooked in a "to do" pile :-) We value our Palantir PPP members and I really want to make sure every application gets reviewed fairly.

Well I did a transfer from Bullroarer to Palantir and I can't check to see if it was sucessful
