I hope someone remembers to take some screenshots of two places.
1. The bunch of players that will spawn around the gates of MT to get to After the Battle as fast as possible to get to Minas Morgul (or maybe the crossroads if the After the Battle area is made available via some port there?)
2. The bunch of players that will spawn south of Dol Amroth to rush in to the new housing area and buy up all the properties available.
I foresee a series of big CTD's in MT when game goes live...

I said Article, not Release Notes, those are totally different things & i already discovered that bullroarer have the data to be test (not the live release notes) many years ago. The Articles are a section where the devs explain on detail how a new event or feature will work, also giving publicity usually a few days before the live release. The release notes just number what is new or changed on a patch but don't explain anything.

One week earlier or later does not matter. As usual, the player base will find and report the exploits the cool kids didn't.
Please ignore my ridiculous running animation.
My kin decided to wait 4-5 weeks after U19 before buying homes in the new Gondor area, to give time for Turbine to fix discovered bugs, since people use their MC on it, best off to let others find big goofs missed, or ignored in beta.
We might also be able to time a new neighborhood releasing without competing for places.
On today Update 19 preview Twitch video minute 2:40 Cordovan said that estimated date for Update 19 release will be next Monday, October 17, 2016 : https://www.twitch.tv/lotrostream/v/94695830 .![]()

Our current plan is to release Update 19 on Monday, October 17th. There are a bunch of factors that could delay it by up to a few days or so, so stay tuned for the formal announcement, but that's the plan.
i think its quite good to have the new area less crowded.
less people on the landrush, better yield from flowerpicking :P
the questpack doesn't run away, so no problem if you do it two weeks later. and maybe, the first rushing people even find more bugs that get fixed two weeks later in u19.1, bugs which you dont see then![]()

The release notes are up in the official area:

Does this mean its going live on Monday?
If they have already decided that, I would hope they would release the date, and the corresponding down time, asap. If they're doing another beta build this weekend I doubt they would release the update on Monday (would probably want a day or two to digest the results of the beta test).
I love this idea! I always noticed that in the past many update notes would pre-date the release, and I always wondered why not give us some advance if you already have it in your hands? However, I do think including the release date in the title would cut down confusion.

The unfortunate part about being more open about when things might happen is I then need to post things like this when something comes up...
It looks like we will not be able to get U19 out on Monday, as we found an issue with the Henneth Annun landscape that we want to correct prior to going live with the update. We're still looking at next week for U19, though. Stay tuned for a more specific time frame.
A+ on delaying it until you have it just right
please inform us with Beta 4 build asap.
Thank you Cordovan for sticking your neck out and posting the patch notes early. Many of us appreciate the effort.
Three cheers for Cordovan

This is the fortunate part about being more open about things. When you find out today that there is something that will prevent the update from going live when originally announced, you tell us about it TODAY. Players like to be informed. I can appreciate that sharing this type of information before it's official and written in stone can cause a little extra work for you when things don't work out exactly as planned, but you're clearly doing that extra work to make sure the players know as much as you're permitted to tell them. THAT IS AWESOME.
In addition, when situations like this have arisen in the past, I can say that the response from players is almost always along the lines of: "We'd rather have you take a few extra (days, weeks, test builds, etc.) to get it right than to rush content out with known errors just to meet a deadline." Not sure WB feels the same way...but that's another show.
Long story short (too late!), THANK YOU FOR THIS. The effort is truly appreciated.
