Queue may be working but it is not working *properly*.
Queue is broken if someone queues and then someone else tries an hour later and logs on and off 10 times and gets in, While the person that queued first never does get in and gives up an hour after the second person is in.
I've tried logging in for about 5 hours on and off and the close que number I got was 619. I'm pretty confident the Que is completely borked and having the Ithil coming online is most likley going to overwhelm the login servers more.
i queued for over an hour at 516 in queue. In the end i gave in and quit then tried reopening 20+ times. I was getting 2k+ and eventually getting as low as 1234 in queue after numerous attempts 20+. I just quit and went and had a bath. When i returned 30 mins or so later i logged in and got in straight away.
seems quite random to me.

Anybody else have a MAC machine that can't even login? Getting the error message:
PatchClientDLL::CheckDatFiles Failed. [Unable to decrypt and deserialize the data downloaded from the server.]
Still getting this error message on login...
have tried :"repair" option and that has failed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Since testing things is what I do, I decided to see if waiting in the queue had any chance of actually launching the client.
I know this is not what SSG would like a player to do since it can't bee too friendly to the login servers, but...

I started a new instance of the launcher every 5-10 minutes and checked the queue numbers for Anor. Queue started at 4470 and the number went down by roughly 1000 every 20 minutes. It tool be about an hour and 25 minutes total to get to the point where it logged in.
Some of my speculation:
-Launching a new instance did keep my account in the queue (unless somehow people just stopped trying altogether over the last hour, it is the only thing that makes sense to me. I should not have been getting steadily* decreasing numbers otherwise)
-At no point did any of the queued instances give any indication they would launch the game at some point. It could be that by starting a new launcher the older instances lost their connection, but even if that is the case, I left the one where I was at position 119 up for 15 minutes which should have been plenty of time to get to zero. And the very next attempt did go straight in with no queue.
-Adding another server might help a bit, but if tomorrow is anything like today I still don't think it will be a happy sight. Only reduced population will help and, unfortunately, we may get that sooner than SSG wants if players are too frustrated by this start to stick around paying.
*there were a couple outliers at the very start where the queue number went up. these were mostly times when I started the launchers withina minute or so of each other, but I am not sure it had anything to do with it. after spreading out the attempts, the numbers decreased each time.
