This should be rolled back. Either that, or leave it in place. Everyone pays the same money to play LS content. Early birds shouldn't be at an advantage because of a game error.

Looks like they've turned off the Legendary Items vendors in Skirm Camps. Just tried 3 and none will talk to me. Big red "You cannot do that".

They may as well be available in the Skirmish Camp after the update. People bartered for tens and hundreds of these things and were selling them for hundreds of gold apiece. Some of the biggest kins on Anor were involved in this exploit, so it's doubtful that it was just a few people who knew about it. The cat is out of the bag, just let us all have them.

Seeing as "exploit early, exploit often!" was Turbine's typical policy back in the day (even if they never outright stated it), this may actually be the most authentic classic LotRO experience yet released to the legendary servers. I am unsure whether I should laugh or cry in response to that fact.

This is the first I learn of it.
So, was there a rollback? There was no rollback after the copied minas tirith daily box loot.
There is no pint to the leg server itemization if everything's freely available.
Reroll, remove the gear.

I know that this was written in some Threads, but in reality we do not see that much Symbols in AH.
In core i did not see even one in the lasts weeks.
It is a Urban Legend.
Or is the AH of Ithil full of it? on Arnor i see non.

Someone told me, that they were also expensive to barter, not for a common server player with 11 year of gametime...., but for an Anor or Ithil Player, as they do not in common own that many marks and meds to barter them in that numbers that are told.
(We all were to lazy to log on the Common Server to have a look what they cost. No even i know it, as i barter there maybe 30 for my @75 Captain Halbert/2hSword Tries)
Skirmish do not matter, as there were no Itemdrops in the Raidboxes the whole time. So nearly no one plays them in the past.
The Raid box do not even get to open.

I lead and organize that many Thorog runs, that i think, i will not get in near future problems with marks and meds, if i stop to use reputation accelerators :-)

Even as i had a lot of luck that Symbols in my Thorog Raids drop. And even much more, that many go in my lucky bag.
My Raidcrew does not own enough :-(
I think nearly no one gets enough.

We found some in T2cm boxes, that we did short-handed. As in the old Days we share them on the Damagedealer.
In the last 3 Days i see only 1 Symbol in the Thorog Box, that our Mini won. The other Thorog Raid gets 2 in the Evening.
Some Days before a guy won 2 in one night and 1 a day later.
Maybe i was on the false Char :-)
Mhhh i try it tomorrow, as many already say the symbols drop if i am in the Raid.


To be clear 1st Ages are very nice.
If you start Raiding it would be good to use them, but atm our Damagedealer use mainly 2nd age items.

From my point of view, a person that gets a lot of the Symbols from Thorog. For me it would be fine if all can barter them again. I think after my uncountable Thorog Raids, many should have enough marks and meds to barter them. As i would do too :-)
I do not play the Instances of the best item in slot, as some do. I like to play with others.
Of course i like to setup my char as best, as possible, but i play also instances for fun, even if the loot is unimportant for me.

But i would more prefer not to have ID on Orthanc. Or at least 2 resets a week.
An alternative would be to have ID on T2 and an other, or no ID on T1.

I don't understand the No Rollback philosophy, people would have lost one day of progress in a game over a decade old and the game services would have shown they are adamant on policy.
Next time you fellow and someone has an FA or four, you will know it's maybe a gamer who played the game to attain it but also that it could just as well have been shopped at skirmish camp.

This always makes me laugh, because there's only a few people that have first agers. Those that farmed thorog, those that wasted marks/medallions on them, and those that earned them in Tower of Orthanc t2c.... Currently, Mirage has 4/5 bosses down, which means we get at least 4 symbols a run. Therefore, our kin mates have first age items; not because someone stockpiled their wasted marks and medallions to ruin progression.
