I was in Mordor on a slow horse to Agarnaith from Maghu Ashtu. I was looking at the map to check progress when my character got booted out. Now i can't log on my toon at all. Character selection screen says Dodinn is in Caras Galadhon. He was in Mordor...

This sounds like the character you were playing had data corruption. Ugh. Put in a support ticket. In the interim, if you have another character on the affected account, try to log into that one. Sometimes that'll fix the bad one.
