We've updated LOTRO.com today! The forums remain the same, although we intend to update the forums in the future. A few things for today:


  • A lot of older links that exist in forums posts will no longer resolve correctly unless you add "forums." to them before lotro.com in the URL. So, anything that was lotro.com/forums/whatever will now be found at forums.lotro.com/forums/whatever.
  • We are aware that if you just type lotro.com into a web browser you are being redirected to the DDO Market rather than the forums. This is related to a redirect issue we are working to correct. The issue is it isn't redirecting without the https:// in the url, so for now use https://www.lotro.com to access the new web site.
  • We are currently working on getting the launcher news feeds to display in the game launcher. In the meantime, the raw xml files can be found here (you'll need an RSS feed reader of some kind):

    These are also the URLs you will need to get the feeds into your Discord bots and such.
  • We have a few typos on LOTRO.com to sort through, including several on the French version of the page.
