Changing decoration position, rotation not holding, permanent

So, i rotated a few items, moved some stuff around, and then come back later and it's all back in the default positions.

How do i get my changes to stay changed? I click 'save' in the window.

i got it though, i thought i was clicking save by doing so in a different item, and it would save everything, smh
you can't move the item too far or you won't be able to save it's position
