That sounds like .... *throws up in her mouth a little*.... PvE....
Maybe if we could get a good Delving battle going and some npcs could "just happen" to get killed while we were there....

or you can just do it really, really fast, you dont need many stones, and it can be kinda sorta fun... in a super nerfed hunter kinda way... lol, pve on the ba is almost unbearable. but the race traits you will get give you armor and morale, not that you will be pwning snitches left and right, but an extra 500 morale wont hurt.

I've been playing my burg in the moors lately and thought I'd throw in my two cents.
1. I don't think very many people could solo a burg under rank 6. That said, try it anyway. Learn what you can from how they play. You might do better than you think.
2. Dot. Use every dot you have, and early in the fight. When a burg reaches half, make sure you have at least one dot on him.
3. Use slows. Burgs can get out of slows by using HIPS, which is a 7 - 10 minute cooldown. They can also HIPS twice, which is twenty minutes. However, if a burg is slowed he will have trouble getting to your back, which is where their big DPS comes from.
4. Don't let a burg get behind you.
5. Learn what Touch and Go looks like in the burg's character portrait. It's a picture of a man mid-stride, facing left, surrounded by a green square. When you see TnG up, slow and kite as best you can.
6. Burgs have three stuns they can use against Uruks and Orcs, and two they can use against Weavers and Stalkers. If you gain stun immunity from one, watch your immunity circle and try to stay out of the burg's melee range (either behind, to his side, or far enough back that he can't hit you) as best as you can after the immunity is up. It's hard to avoid the stuns, but do you'd be surprised how much DPS you can do some times while the burg just taps his stun, pissed off because you keep running, and doesn't get any other attacks off.
7. Don't wait until you're at half health to hit a morale pot. Hit it early.
Back when I was playing Puppy there were wargs in the moors who taught me how to play the class. I don't know what it's like out there any more, but if you see a new dog there's no harm in telling him that it's usually better to dot from stealth because he can apply three dots, plus a slow, and do around 2k damage over time as he spams claws while the dots run.
I cant Wait till Turbine Disables Ready and Able Skill for Burgs In the Moors
Its being Abused like The Hunters DF back in the day
Wont ever happen. DF was nerfed because of it would removed a person from the area, and if that person died from bleeds, no points were awarded to killer. Burgs can still die from HiPs, and creeps can still get points if the burg dies. If they fix the immediate area for getting points (i.e.) you can still get points even though your pursuit is not on your mini map (not likely), DF would return. So dont get your hopes up on Ready and Able being nerfed.
Sure it will Even Playing field I mean are da burgs gonna be sad when they can only hips once ever ten minutes
I'll lose RnA if creep mitigations and resists get nerfed as well and I get to have sprint.

If anything wargs will be nerfed way before burgs. They'll make hips and sprint not usable at the same time, because much like df, its impossible to get any points if they are used together. The burgs 30min ready and able will never be nerfed like df was. Keep dreaming if it makes you happy though.

Hey everyone!
It seems this thread keeps getting derailed by a few posters. I would like to remind everyone to keep the thread on-topic and to the spirit of its original purpose. Please do not use it as a vehicle to comment on the playstyles of others, or to get into personal arguments.

I try to answer all of my PMs, but I get a lot! Sometimes I may not get back to you, but I have read your mail!
Not that I have a burg but Ive had the luxury of watching my brother build applestheif (he spelt it wrong!) so I know at least one thing...besides a rock throw they have no range whatsoever. May be a good idea to try to kite and keep as much range as possible. Dots in any fight are a plus. And as much dps as you can muster. Im of the schooling that even though I have 5400something morale if I do enuff dps fast enuff it doesnt matter what the opposition does. Basically "layeth the smacketh down upon thier candy arses" (wonder if thats considerd a curse...I see whom my post is following) Just dot them up hit them as hard and as fast as you can and keep a distance between yourself and them. Also no matter the class its always a good idea to not let someone get behind you. You really cant defend with your backside :-) Just my two cents hope it helps

My advice would be to the spam tracking BA's, keep it up, all it does is make you a primary target![]()
Spam tracking is fun; costs me some silver and means I have to pve though, so there... now you can feel better about that. And I haven't noticed my targeted situation changes based on whether there's a manburg out or not...I die pretty often anyway. You want me to not track you, come out on the hobbit instead - she was pretty fun to jump over. (not corpse-jumping, I don't do that, I mean my patented Jumping BA technique - if you'd like tips, you can order the DVD for 19.99)
