Is it just me, did I miss an announcement (didnt find anything to that effect), or what is going on? All servers come back as closed.

Get the launcher running, click down arrow top right and select log out. Then uncheck the "Remember me for 8 Hours" FOREVER and log in.

Isn't it time to get Daybreak to run the game forums so we can get a Bug Reports Forum and Upvote functionality, rather than this waste basket system?

Absolute;y agreed 100%. I run into this problem at least once a week, and luckily, this problem is widespread enough that it ws easy to find a thread about this issue. Didn't even have to use the search feature.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize that we have not yet had time to properly address your bug reports on the "Stay logged in for 8 hours" feature. We will be removing the "Stay logged in for 8 hours" check box until we can take a deeper look into it.

What do you mean by "calling ini values", and what are the "obvious reasons"?

If people have the check box checked it will set a variable, presumably in the ini files. If the check box is removed from the UI as the sole short term measure those players with it currently checked then lack the ability to so easily recover from the all worlds closed situation if circumstance converge to produce it, with the code still active. Then we are faced with helping them back to their game with edits to the ini files for a work around or there deletion and a heap of settings rejigging after loading the default versions the game generates.

I'm taking Cord's words at face value, just the UI change. Too often the short term measures are driven by non technical staff and implemented maybe not by the person who would ultimately be addressing the larger issue. If told to remove the check box they might do just that. If told to fix the icon for Polished Sapphire they might totally miss the issue of the icon changing dynamically in moving from a bag to storage. If you only come to issues years and months after thousands of players have already negotiated their way around them before you, it takes some delusion to think you're the first to notice and see the issue when all evidence suggests game play is largely oblivious to all but the "smacks you in the face" obvious. I don't know why the new Senior Moderator doesn't assist more to merit the title.

I'm getting the server list showing all open after the maintenance and removal of the check box.

If anyone still has them showing as closed please reply, hopefully it's all good now. Too much to ask if the functionality is still active for others I guess.
