    Guardian Physical Mitigation Stat

Guardian has no stat that gives Physical Mitigation.

    Guardian Stat Tooltips:

To confirm it wasn't a tooltip issue:
    With item equipped/unequipped:

Anyone know why this might be?

For comparison, Champion gets Physical Mitigation from Might:

Wouldn't it make sense for the Tank class to get this as well?

You got lots (lots) of Physical Mitigation just from your Armour Rating. Guards do not have PhsyMit from Might, but lots of Armour Rating from our Heavy Shield. At cap, you overcap PhysMit just with armor pieces. There is no need for more PhysMit. None at all.

It would make more sense adding Tactical Mitigation e.g. to Vitality. Or giving some more from Armour Rating (we get 5:1 TactMit from AR). TactMit is always a lot lower than PhysMit, and a pain to get to reasonable numbers. (Especially after that update a year ago lowered TactMit values on Armour, Scrolls, and so on. Which was done because of Reasons(TM). )

So does Champ. They also wear heavy armour with the same 100% armour to physical mitigation conversion.

So Guardians have to use a shield to equal something Champions get as a passive stat?
What about Guardians using a 2h weapon?

Infact, on further investigation it looks like ONLY the Champion gets Physical Mitigation from a stat right now.

Maybe that should be removed and primary tank classes get a Tactical Mitigation or similar added to Might or Vitality?

Maybe it's fine and there's nothing to worry about. Nonissue. Certainly isn't netting chanks any perceivable edge. Plenty more solo/quest gear at 130 for you to get.

PhysMit from Might for Champs was added by a patch not long ago. It also gave them one point of Crit per point of Might. My thoughts were:
    - Crit from Might: YAY! Free crit!
    - PhysMit from Might: Who on earth needs that?

The main issue I see is that SSG doesn't seem aware what classes get what from which stat. And which class needs what. Mitigations stand out the most. See, each class basically gets enough Physical Mitgation from Armour because of the 1:1 ratio. But TactMit?

    - Will classes get TMit from Will and Vitality. Since you see Will and Vita on each Light Armour piece, TMit is relatively high. Also, there are offensive pieces with TMit (Will, Vita, TactMastery, TactMit). --> Will classes get high TMit for free.
    - Agility Classes get TMit from Will. They usually don't have Will items slotted. Hunters get TMit from Vitality. No offensive pieces with TMit available, but some tanking pieces are. --> Hunters have a slight advantage here. Wardens and Burglars need to slot tanking equipment and/or TMit essences to get TMit.
    - Might classes get TMit from Will. They usually don't have Will items slotted. No offensive pieces with TMit available, but some tanking pieces are. --> Might classes need to slot tanking equipment and/or TMit essences to get TMit.

Basically, Will classes (and Hunters) who usually are outside of the fray get free mitigations. All melee/tank classes who usually take the brunt of the attacks get nothing. Where is the logic in that?

The logic behind this is relatively simple, all other classes get more morale via Vitality.
