Note: This post is just a general response, not specifically directed to your post Ice, even though I quoted it. You just motivated me to reply :-)

hehe I actually have fewer KB's (especially considering I have double the infamy) although there are definitely other Defilers out there who have more. It's a bit of an ongoing joke that it's hard to get a KB around me (kind of like joking about the uberness of our Flies) but it actually isn't that common. That is mostly due to my play style however. I spend more time healing and rezzing others, even when I am running solo, than I do trying to damage Freeps. Getting a KB is more amusement value for me than anything else, and I don't actively attempt to gain them. What can I say, I enjoy playing my Defiler as a Healer rather than a lean-mean-DPSing-machine Although when running my damage build I do have the occassional good day/night where I might get a massive 10 KB's!

Admittedly since MoM came out I have gotten a LOT more KB's than before, but that is because of the change to game play. Pre-MoM there would be days that went by that I never used a single damaging attack, whereas these days I run a damage build more frequently (as there is a lot more solo/small group play) so I use my damaging attacks more often. It stands to reason if you attack more you are going to get more KB's than if you rarely attack at all, even if many of them are just from lucky DoT's *giggles*

This month I have gained ~100 KB's. Last month I gained ~260 KB's. It varies depending on current game play and how much time I have free to spend in the Moors. I am currently sitting at 707/2500, so I imagine I should get Harvester of Sorrow some time next year. And I am perfectly fine with that. I love healing, that's why I play a Defiler. Sure getting a KB usually makes me giggle, but that is due to the novelty factor (which has yet to wear off even though I am Rank 11!). If I wanted KB's, I'd actively strive to obtain them. Or better yet, I'd play my BA or Reaver

As for playing on Elendilmir, an active PvMP community doesn't necessarily mean KB's are going to come that much easier for Defilers. In actual fact it can make it harder when there are so many people to compete with.

In any case, I am not particualy interested in my KB count - if I was it would be a lot higher than it is now :-) I have found I get a lot more enjoyment out of keeping others up (especially against overwhelming odds) so that they can get the KB's.

Now FLY KB's are a completely different matter... Fortunately for the E-Freeps I am very restrained where my Flies are concerned so I rarely unleash that kind of devestation upon them ;-) If I did, I imagine my KB count would likely be 10 times greater than it is now

I imagine if you were actively seeking KB's your count we be a lot higher too ;-) Although your current number is impressive all the same (I didn't even get Black Dog until Rank 10 LOL). The relatively low KB's Defiler's generally get compared to other classes just adds to the appeal for me. Which is why it makes me giggle when I get one - I find it extremely amusing ;-) Especially if I am running my Health/Power build at the time.

If I am DPSing I generally just go all out and hope my attack lands before the Freep dies. Or I focus everything into the target I think others are most likely to focus next (or even last). However I have heard learning to time attacks for KB's is a fine art *giggles*

Oohhh very nice! Fly KB's are just awesome! I have had a few with mine too, although I have to say Sniz's Flies (and Grulack's for that matter!) are far superior to mine (I think mine went on vacation when they were handing out the aggression gene). But then again, it's hard to keep up with people who have dedicated their life work to training their Flies as pure killing machines ;-)

There is no eyebrow being raised from anyone on the 2 servers I have now played on. My war page is legitimate although another warg once told me it was mathematically impossible for me to have so few deaths at this high of a rank. I continue to laugh at that statement to this day.

I think you're a great player and whatever goes on in the moors, I think your playing skill and ability are top notch.

But it's false to say no eyebrows are raised, at least from judging the comments in the OOC on the brandywine server.

I don't sweat it and don't want to make an issue of it but you've "stolen" quite a few KBs from me after I did all the work 1 v 1ing someone. But you've also saved me and helped me out many times as well. From my viewpoint, as long as freeps are dying. It's all good.

You're a very good player, of that there's no doubt in my mind. But I just thought it was disingenuous of you to say nobody has ever raised an issue before. But to be fair, people pick on anyone in TvT all the time, whether it's justified or not. So that's probably a factor too I'm sure.
