And since we're posting kittehs too this little **** followed me and my roomate home one night about a month ago. We let him/her hang out and now we have and illegal (says the landlord) kitteh in out apartment. (yes the tail was like that when we found him.

He looks like he may be (in whole or part) of the Manx breed, which is one of the only domesticated breeds where kittens can be born with little-to-no tail to speak of. It's actually a breed characteristic, and among show-cat aficionados, a sought-after one at that.

If he is Manx, he may be quite young. And if so, he will eventually get larger. Potentially MUCH larger. In fact, Manx and Maine Coon are among the larger domestic breeds.
