The Chipotle is evil and we stay away from there. The Lamberts is in Westwood, right down the street from here. That is some good stuff right there.

Lambert's sandwiches and subs are great. I think my dislike of Chipolte comes from never really liking Mexican food other than Fajitas. I grew up in S. FLA and ate a ton of Cuban food, which I think is far superior.

To be fair, I dislike spicy things in general. Buffalo wings don't get much love from me either.

I am not a big Chipotle fan, not because they have bad food, but because I generally don't like spicy foods, or things with vegetables in general. And Lambert's has some fine deli meats and can make great sandwiches.

If you don't think it is evil you can check this site for the nutritional info. I go for the burrito bowls now and skip the tortilla, cheese, guac and sour creem. I do like their hot salsa too. Go make something and then add in what I listed *shudder*.

Chipotle rocks. Their rice is awesome. I used to boycott Chipotle as McDonalds was a majority owner, but I recently found out McDonalds sold all their shares and no longer has anything to do with the restaurants.

So I went to Chipotle, and it was good.

I like their push towards organic and natural ingredients.

We don't live far from Westwood at all, so we'll see about Lamberts. Chipotle will never get my business. There's an art to fresh and healthy Mexican IMO...and it should never be fast food!

If yer up in town, there is a closer Lambere's to you in Dorchester. The one in Westwood is really great and I would say their salad bar is the best I have ever seen.

It's not a restaurant. It's actually a store/market. They have a great salad bar and awesome deli counter. You grab the bread you want, hand it to the person behind the counter and tell them what you want on it.

They've added some hot foods too recently.

Other than that, nothing beats White Castles and their red-headed half brother Crystal something or other!
