Transfers...HELP!

Hi guys,

(Didn't know where to post this so don't shoot me down!)

I transfered a toon of mine from Gladden to Landroval (not closing) in August. I kind of want to transfer another character to Laurelin too while transfers are still free. But that's the thing - when I press the transfer button in the launcher, the only server it comes up with is Elendilmir (closing). My questions are these: am I too late to transfer a character from Gladden to Laurelin? Are the only servers now available for transfer are the closing ones? Is my launcher glitched? Is there any way to transfer a toon to Laurelin FOR FREE?

Laurelin is a surviving EU server. Gladden is a surviving US server.

Transfers between EU/US are not currently possible.

Transfers FROM surviving worlds are not currently enabled, but will be enabled after the dying worlds have all had their turn.

Thank you! So at some point I can definitely transfer from Gladden to Laurelin? Do you know what day that will be? I swear I read that after the closing worlds have been transferred transfers themselves would become paid again.

You misunderstand. Because of database issues, it is impossible to transfer from a US server to an EU server. I'm afraid that what you're asking for can't be done.

But in the first place I transferred from US to EN (on the forum page it says Landroval is EN). How can I do that and not this?

Landroval is a US server while Laurelin is a former Europen server. Laurelin was , for many years, kept in Europe and run by one of Turbine European companies called Codemaster. When Turbine decided to bring back all the European servers under their control in the US it soon became clear that there were some database discrepancies and differences between the former EU servers and the US servers, and for this reason transfer between US and former EU ( like Laurelin) is not possible and will never be possible, Turbine has made that very clear. While you cannot transfer your character from a US server you are more than welcome to create a brand new one and come and play on Larrelin if you wish to do so.

EN = English as official language; EU = old European servers using Codemaster database. These are not the same things.
If you check the servers on launcher, Landroval is marked as [US-RE] while Laurelin is [EU-EN-RP] (EN marked for distinguishing from French/German servers).
As others have mentioned, transfer between US and EU servers have never been available and will never become possible in the furture.

I found a great kin but I really wanna level my Warren who is level 65 but he is on Gladden. On Saturday I created a guardian and got him to 17 but... He's not my warden! Oh well. I guess I will just have to alternate between servers. :/

I am currently "free to Play", but on Silverlode Server. When I try and use the transfer button my server does not come up so I can't get past the first step in trying to transfer. Is it because I am free to play and I can not transfer? Will it let me transfer if I go VIP? Silverload has always been scarcely populated imho and I would like to try Arkenstone or Chrickhollow any thoughts on which is more active? Thanks, John

It is not yet your server's turn for transfer. The order is given here.
