I haven't set foot in the new area since shortly after the datacenter move, I've been staying in Moria finishing up instance deeds there and running other areas on lowbie alts. Those parts of the game still run tolerably well for me.

The new area is a trainwreck performance-wise, has been since it was released, and has only gotten worse since the move. I'm mid-way through ally status with MT, so I've got a ways to go yet to open up Burgmen's rep.

When Bert arrives at a new region, he generally assembles his goods from the previous region -- so while he's in Lothlorien he'll have Moria-themed items. That way he doesn't spoil any of the developments that might happen during his stay.

Can we leave the spoilers for future weeks out of the thread? Few things irritate a game designer more than people poking around in the data and revealing what's to come before it gets here. If I could prevent you guys from doing it, I would -- but since I can't, could you keep the info to yourself? It's gotten to the point where I find myself going out of my way to obfuscate things under-the-hood, which is a pain and not exactly time-effective.

It's like the Ominous Pool. You have to set your housing permissions to allow people to use them.

I assume it would work for anyone given permission to use decorations. But that's what I assumed about Property Guards, and some of those don't work in some scenarios.

On a related topic, could we get the Treacherous Hole edited a bit so that it actually shows an animation of your character climbing down it, along with an induction before the port?

I used to play LOTRO a ton...like I was addicted to it. Now i rarely play but I come back after updates and check what is up. But I have to say I still come and play Bingo Boffin quest. Not sure why but I guess I am a story guy. Anyways just reading the comments and it looks like I'm falling behind. Stuck in the fanged pit in Moria and haven't worked up time or energy to run all the way to the back corner for the quest. Ah good ol' Moria. Haven't been there for ages. Almost forgot what the Fanged Pit was called. Anyways keep up the good work MOL.

We, specifically my Wife and I and some of our Kinship, greatly appreciate what you do. We have found Bingo Boffins very enjoyable. When you start to grind your teeth try to remember that some of us won't read spoilers and avoid them because we look forward to experiencing the content you create first hand ingame. We like it that way, and that way our feelings and frustrations about a certain hobbit are ... shall we say... genuine.

You're giving us fantastic housing items, but I'm running out of space. Both space to store it and hooks to display the stuff. How much more housing are we going to see? I mean, the property guards and especially the treacherous hole are FANTASTIC, but we're halfway through? All I have in my housing storage (THE ONLY THING) is housing items and between festivals and instances and quests, I'm running out of room.

I get it. Nothing is probably going to be done on housing, but man, it's stale and we're getting some great stuff. It's to the point where I feel like each person should get their own instanced housing area (for the same price as one house, mind you) and be able to fill every house with stuff. I bet I could do it without blinking an eye, kinhouses and all. You know how many troll statues and windmills and snowmen and haunted trees and banners (oh, the banner horror) I could place?

Actually, tell them to do that. Each character on a server gets a house. The more character slots you buy, the more houses "unlock" for you at whatever the MC storage would be (and if you've bought the storage, you'd get the houses granted if you have the character). At 27 characters, I'd probably still need more houses.

I've got a whole kinhouse that I'm using for just the Bingo travel maps and other assorted Bingo things.

I was really lucky and was able to get all but one of my accounts' housing in the same neighborhood, and that last account could buy a standard house there too but I'm holding out for a deluxe in case anyone else currently there moves out. Even so I've got way more items in storage than I could ever display at once. (I feel your pain about the banners!)
