The LOTRO Store has a wealth of useful items and many different ways to earn Turbine Points to purchase them. This walkthrough is here for new players looking for a little more information on how to navigate and purchase items in the LOTRO Store.
There are two ways to open the LOTRO Store, one is clicking the LOTRO Store button on the bottom-right of your screen and the other is pressing 'Ctrl+S' on your keyboard.
For the purpose of this walkthrough, we'll buy a stack of healing potions. When looking for a new item, there are two methods of locating it. One method is using the search feature, found in the upper-right portion of the home page and many other pages:
The other method is by using the 'Browse' menu on the left-side of the LOTRO Store panel. As you can see below, we're going to pick up a stack of Morale Potions to just in case we get into a nasty fight during some solo questing. Click on 'Morale' to proceed:
Using the Browse menu creates a categorized view. Note that only items you character is eligible for will appear in the LOTRO Store, even when you conduct a search.
Notice the 'Quick Buy' button:
By clicking 'Quick Buy' you will be presented with the following Quick Buy checkout panel:
At this point, you can still cancel the purchase. Otherwise, you may apply a coupon (learn more in our Coupon Guide) or simply click 'Place Order' and receive your selected item.
Alternatively, you may add an item to your Cart by clicking the button next to 'Quick Buy':
Once an item is added to your cart, click on 'My Cart' to proceed through the checkout process:
After clicking on 'My Cart' you will be presented with any items you've recently added to your cart. Here, you can see the price of an item, change the quantity of items you're purchasing, see the total price based on how many items you've chosen to purchase, and also remove any unwanted items.
If you would like to use a coupon, it's at this point you enter it. See the below field:
Once you're happy with the items in your cart, click the 'Place Order' button to make your purchase:
You'll see a LOTRO Store page detailing your receipt, along with an email receipt sent to your account's primary email address.
