no points....or xp boost...

so i entered the game...and, to my suprise, i haven't recieved the 250TP's (im premium and i did play before the downtime) and also there isnt any xp boost (not showing up under my health bar as it usually does at least, didnt kill anything yet) any1 got any ideas?

Maybe you should wait until the points are handed out before complaining that you didn't get any.

As for XP, it sounds like it should be on now. Try killing something and observing the numbers.

sorry if it sounded like a complainment, that wasnt my intention, i was typing fast and didnt really think ^^ and i just came back so i dont know what the situation looks like but i saw we get free points and since i dont buy TP i got happy

The experience boost should be enabled on your server. I noticed that the buff icon did not appear, but I was getting double experience on my kills when I was just on my character.

As to the 250 TP, we haven't awarded those points yet. We will award those points once we can make sure that our service is stable and functioning as normal.

Nope it's not active. I am in loth I am level 60, killed level 60 bear I get this. You've earned 490, ok Bonuse xp plus my pocket 25% , Bonus total 125% bonus Xp. Should be about 900 or more, last time i was getting about that with another toon same level.

And about the free tp delay. If the system were not stable then the bonus weekend would not even be close to going live on the servers. New excuse?

Good grief. My kids had more patience than this when they were 6. If it gets to be a week or two and there's still no "bonus", complain about it. Until then... you're not exactly being put on the rack while you wait.

It's definitely working. I got a ton of xp in the last skirmish I was in. (Pushing to 42 on this toon for next epic quest.)

You do realize that based on the EULA everyone accepts to play this game, that they owe you nothing for the server issues right?

Whereas it's far from heroic that they are giving us something for the disruption in service, its certainly worthy of being polite and grateful rather than snide. Being so churlish only can serve to make them reconsider extending anything sort of olive branch in the future.

Does this also go for my VIP 500 TP as I renewed the day before the downtime and have never received them either just wondering

Please explain to me what benefit Turbine has by holding back the TP bonus? You know you're going to get it eventually. And, what does the bonus weekend have to do with the TP?

I too am absoutely ashamed and appalled by some peoples attitudes and reactions during these recent days, on the forums and Twitter.
Some of the comments are unbelieveable.
I really hope that Turbine don't think all their players have the same selfish position towards them that have been displayed.

Seriously you people whining about things that have not been delivered yet, put a sock in it will ya! Alright, i can understand people getting gnarly in the down time, as i did too. And i can understand people being churlish because of that but i cant understand the seeming constant snide remarks and comment's aimed at the devs because of it. And where i completely loose the plot? "Wheres my tp, wheres bonus xp?" Whine whine whine. Anyone whining like that, you now you sound like 5 year old's or something, right? The bonus xp is up and running and has been all of yesterday. I know this because for a normal at level mob in the mid 40s my burglar has been getting in excess of 1200 xp, this is with the bonus xp and with some more bonus he got from xp tomes. As for the tp...the servers have been up only a few days, Celestratas reason for them not being given yet is completely justifiable, just cause the servers ARE up, does not mean they are completely stable, and turbine will give our tps to us when they do.

And btw, going crazy over it is daft as you can farm nearly 2k tp in a week as someone has said already...probably more.

The reason why I'm anxious to know when the TP will be given out is because then i'll know the service is stable. Right now I'm hearing people are buying TP and it not being delivered, even though they are charged for it. Soon as this mess is over, the better.

To all the people who keep freaking the hell out over the downtime, missing xp boost and TP...take a second and relax. Think to yourself...you lost, what, 3 days of game time at the most? 3 days, out of how many hundreds of days you've played over the years? That's dust in the wind my friend. Sure, this game is great and an important part of some of our lives, but it's still just that - a VIDEO GAME. If you've got your panties in a huge bunch over 3 days of lost game time, you might consider taking a break from LOTRO all together, because that isn't very healthy.

And Turbine don't owe us the TP or XP boost. They very well could have given us absolutely nothing in return for our measly 3 days of lost time, but instead they chose to give us some compensation. Don't be so damn ungrateful and greedy because they are taking longer than you wanted to roll out those compensations. Be grateful that you are getting anything period, because Turbine doesn't have to do any of this for you at all.

I was wondering this as well since I haven't seen anything on it. I usually receive the 500 TP around the date of the maintenance. I'm assuming once they can push out the 250, the monthly VIP will also get pushed out. No whine here, when it comes, it comes but would like to see confirmation.
