Are we going back to the Second Age?

So I was reading the announcement about the upcoming Minas Morgul expansion, and I saw this:

"The words of the shade of Isildur will unearth secrets and visions of the Second Age that have remained untold until now, revealing playable landscape and new adventures from a crucial time in Middle-earth’s history."

I haven't been following the development/news of this expansion too closely, so now I'm wondering: does this mean we'll be travelling back to the Second Age somehow, or does it refer to session play raids/instances, or just places where major events of the Second Age took place?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

We will have a lot more to show and say about the Mordor Beseiged part of the Minas Morgul expansion in the coming weeks.

My guess is, it's either a session play type of thing, or the kind of mechanic they have used in, for example, in the Black Book of Mordor or the Epics in the bowels of Dol Guldur, where Gandalf was sort of a narrator, and we got to discover things that had happened in the past.

The latter is my guess, just on a bigger scale like a huge playable "hallucination." Edit: Maybe even a Palantir vision?

I expect something like the tale of Elrohir and Elladan in Haerondir, how their father accompanied Gil-Galad and Isildur in the war of the last alliance, and they won over several of the Nazgul.

My own guess is that it will be a lot like the Besieged City quests in Minas Tirith. Not narrative - not session play - but us doing things with our own characters in a location that is ...temporally removed from Third Age Middle Earth.

That should be interesting. Especially given that the upcoming Middle-Earth TV series is going to be set in the Second Age....

I knew at some point we'll need to go back and see Barad Dur in all its might but... that's NOT what I expected. Positively surprised. And Sauron with the ring on the cover! I really hope Mordor Besieged is as great as it sounds guys

My guess (and hope) is the next level of lotro's "cinematic experience" - maybe a vision like Minas Tirith Besieged, enviroment troops like on the Pelennor Fields and some cool cinematic movies for key events. Only this time it's a fully-fledged zone, with own quests and deeds maybe? I wonder

PS: Also, I really hope Mordor of the Second Age feels much different than the one we know
