Re: Show us your favorite cosmetic outfit
The key thing to remember about this outfit is that in order to get the tunic effect, you MUST have both Arth-crus and Rhuvel-socas. The legs (Rhuvel-Socas) actually have the bottom part of the tunic on them. Any other legs will not give you the same effect, that I know of. (I found this out the hard way...)

I was rolling through Bree and managed to get myself an entourage, a fashionable dwarf and a backwards-walking hobbit.

A few screenies that I took of my baby burglar. I simply adore the pieces I've used, and with my new computer they can look awesome.

My thoughts exactly! In fact while I was waiting for servers to come back up, it gave me the time to make this.

It's not a masterpiece, but it's still pretty cool.

I think I finally completed the set. And not a moment too soon - the February freeze has really slammed into Bree.
Most of this set is well-traveled: [armour]Cel-crus[/armour], [armour]Tavol-socas[/armour], [armour]Gwir-palvais[/armour], and [armour]Rhydhid-lhopan[/armour] have popped up regularly in this thread since AoI went live. [armour]Cadarn-durnvol[/armour] and [armour]Urdhol-helm[/armour], not so much. Of course, given as Urdhol-helm has a high hem to show off the wearer's bald head beneath, that's not really surprising.

Still, it's a nice heavy-ish outfit, good for keeping warm on a frosty... morning? Evening? Something.

... especially when Bree decides its name is Forochel.
Ah well, only one thing to do on days like this!

Re: Show us your favorite cosmetic outfit
Now, altogether it looks good, even with the... er... bindings on the female version. Gwir-palvais helps cover a lot of those, and Cadarn-durnvol completes the cuff. Rhydhid-lhopan balances both, with the gold trim of Gwir-palvais and brown stripes that echo the brown straps on the cuffs.

Unfortunately, the plunging neckline we keep getting in female tops is present here, too. So while Urdhol-helm nests nicely into the collar for the guys, girls get a big gap. :(

Re : Show us your favorite cosmetic outfit
Well, probably my first post on the forums, and I chose this visually inspirational thread :D
Here's a couple of screenshots of my main character, wearing the outfits I've been favouring for quite a while:
http://www.fabtrad.eu/sanglier.jpg
Ajokoira leggings, chest, gloves and shoes, dyed in black, with a boar-head festival mask and a cloak of the boar. I think they all go nicely together.
http://www.fabtrad.eu/lorien.jpg
I'm wearing here a long-sleeved Lorien tunic and pants, and a Lothlorien hooded cloak of the overseer, both dyed in Evendim blue. I really like that dye color! I think the patterns on the tunic and pants really match the tree pattern on the cloak, and the Evendim blue dye offers a nice contrast with the yellowish patterns. Although I think I would have preferred long pants...

Bumping is a violation of the community guidelines. You should never, never, never do it. Ever.
However....
I would like to say that I expect to see many more beautiful outfits in this thread this week, in celebration of Fashion Week. =^_^=

Re: Show us your favorite cosmetic outfit
my blog's colour for the Fashion Week 2012 is crimson. during this exciting event, i'll mainly publish crimson outfits, and i'll do my best to post every 1 or 2 days.
this is the first outfit of the crimson series, which i've created after learning of vampires' role in the Middle-earth lore. yes, they really existed! and vanished during the first age. this outfit is called Thuringwethil, Woman of Secret Shadow, after the last of vampires, who perished in the battle with Luthien and the Hound of Valinor.

Re: Show us your favorite cosmetic outfit
I'm not very good at posing for screenshots, and I don't play on very high quality... but all of my characters wear a variation of this, for the time being...

I'm basically looking for a scruffy looking/nature loving survivalist look... heh...
