I am new to testing on Bullroarer. I have downloaded the initial files and now I'm trying to load the patch. I'm getting an update error and the patch won't download. The initial patch I have is from the last release. Should I uninstall and re-download? It's my understanding that Bullroarer should patch as if it were a "regular" update on the servers. It is not the dreaded 201 error. Any suggestions as to what else to try? (I'm running Win 10 if that helps any)
So I patched the bullroar client and logged in but when i try to actually get on the server i just get the below message.

The game atm is completly pay to win, you say just run the content to get the item but you can the content has a one day lock on it so if you luck out and get the item you still can only do it once per day while someone can just pay 20 buck and full gear in 30 seconds fair? Not pay to win?
I get the exact same problem here, had made a different thread about it. Are you on Mac by chance? I'm re-downloading the whole darn client to see if it fixes the issue... all this after waiting out 3300 files initially on a bad client lol. Will keep you posted.

yes i am on a mac, the br client worked the first time i downloaded it but this time, just get the error.
It is pay for convenience.
Gold bullets that penetrate armor that cannot be earned by in-game play...i.e. I can hurt you but you can't hurt me unless you pay $$...or armor that makes you invincible that cannot be earned by game-play - is pay to win.
Anything that can be bought, but also earned by game-play no matter how long it takes, is not pay 2 win. If $$$ gear allowed you to "win" the game and the other didn't, it would be pay 2 win. Both kinds of gear allow you to "win" but one is down the road - still same content to "win".
Really SSG. Took our request for % based morale & power pots and planning to put it straight into store / lootbox?
So we can now have tanks who can heal 2k morale every 2 mins (with crafted pots) Vs others who can heal 70% morale every minute?
I got no issues with monetisation (within reason) - stick to cosmetics, mounts, housing items, QoL features etc. such as a new training dummies for kin houses and stay away from best in slot gear and key consumables ... You don't think this breaks the game or in the very least has an adverse effect on it?

That’s not really how that works. The mere fact that *actual* accomplishment in the game can be obtained via a monetary transaction makes it P2W. That aside, beyond the Hero’s box / Morale Pots: It’s not necessarily worse amounts of P2W, just more of the same beast (In this idiom it’s still the same one that’s soiled itself on the rug).
