I had a good 1v1 against Aspidas yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised when he hung out next to my corpse to bleed to death. I don't know if he could have made it out of infamy granting range or not, but it was a nice gesture either way.
Had a good 1v1 with ya yesterday, Kynji.
Was hoping to get Dagr too, but I disappeared when I saw the raid coming down over the hill to save him. :(

I was on Neuro, near EC, doing PVE for maps. You killed me a few times and I didn't bother to attack you because I was intent on getting at least one elf ear time I died (my spider sucks at 1v1 anyways). Then I came over there again and just kept jumping in one spot when I saw you. Instead of attacking me you came out and stood right next to me. We started trading emotes, then danced, then just sat down with each other. I felt bad at the end though. You started taking your armor off -- probably for a screenshot of being armorless standing next to a creep -- but then you stopped and started running into EC. I didn't see why you ran until you got to the door and were pounced by a warg pack :(
I wish chillout stuff like that would happen every once in awhile with other freeps because it made me laugh really hard! If freep is by themselves and sees me on Neuro, feel free to have fun if you want... or I guess you can kill me. My spider is my goof-around character since I do absolutely terrible with it compared to my other ones :(

I was recording a segment with Drilorin when we started talking about the Minstrel changes and I was talking about how the Piercing Cry change was going to make it impossible for me to have a chance against Minstrels after it goes live (Kynji, next time I find you let's not waste so much time that another group of creeps comes by and nails you. I need a Minnie solo KB before the patch!) I mentioned that it was the exact same startegy I used against Runekeepers and that it invloved running them out of power.
Hey said, "My Runekeeper never has power issues" and 3 minutes later we were on Candy Mountain and his RK was out of Power (No Banner of Terror neither). Probably the best thing about this fight was that we were still on Skype so I could hear him furiously hitting his keys and we were still talking about the mechanics of the matchup.
However the highlight of the fight was when he got down to ~400 health and I closed in for the kill.
Me:
"I'll finish this with Fracture!" -246
"I'll finish it with Cleave!" -126
"I'll finish this with an Auto Attack!" -144 Yup, it was a crit.

After that I told him how he could have won, but I'm not telling any of the other RKs here! Oh no! Just 'cause your class is now off the hit list doesn't mean I don't still want to kill you. =P

Had some nice fights with my group of 5 today good one at rop vs the creep raid and at good ta vs about 12 creeps.
Had an amazing 1v6...yes 1v6 in HH. Me vs. 6 greenies. 2 wargs 1 reaver 2 wls, and 1 ba. very fun fight and somehow i managed to defeat them.
Here's the names of the creeps. Bagnakah, Kasfna, Naugruk, Agentslaughter, Shadowfangz, and Shrapnar. killed in that order. Thank you all and welcome to the moors. just wish i would have recorded.
It's not really a 2v4 when 2 of us are LD (both me and Sid). But yeah, until we went linklost in 2 separate fights, when it was just 2v2, it was fun. I don't know what the other 2 freeps that came up were doing...Quote:

The past few days have been strange in the fact that I find 1-2 creeps that seem to instantly explode into 92,000. I don't mean they were call outs, it was just like the creeps came out of no where. I am concerned that the orc stealth is gaining powers that we had not expected.
Had a nice re-match with Kynji tonight.
Didn't go so well. I knew it wouldn't when the initial stun happened and I looked down and saw...no yellow pots. :(
Then the 1.7k crit happened and I XX'd. lol
Also, Vikter (a mini) was a good fight. Got the drop on ya and was able to stay positioned, so the deck stacked in my favor, I'm afraid.
There was a solo champion running around as well. Had a nice fight with him in BV. Had to use Disappear to get CB off of him. One suggestion (don't take it personally, it was a nice fight), kiting me when you have two of my bleeds stacked on you will not end well, especially if the kiting solely consists of you shooting the bow at me. Though, I believe you were trying to get me over-eager and get those bears on me perhaps? If I've learned anything from Cass, it's stay away from the bears! Those and leafculls are the most dangerous creatures in the world!
And, last, but not least, poor Budhorn! I think you may have been having connection issues today, though.
First fight was a 2v2 if jaiyne had not gone link dead than you would not have caught up to her to get the kb so your one hit wonder thing does not really work out saying ld would not have made difference.Quote:

Actually, for the service and speed we get, the price is good. Comcast has to be at the bottom rung of things really. Slightly above dial up. Wide Open West (WOW) also provided very good service and speed.

I'm loving my spider, despite my low rank, it seems that the class can really put up a good fight in most 1v1s.
I've had a nice 1v1 with Blits. I'm sad that a reaver showed up in the end, but he didn't do anything except hit him once.

1. I may kill you on your way out from the rez, but if you not wanting to 1v1, blue, or green, after killing you once on your way out ill let you go. I don't like killing a guy over and over for renown if he doesn't want to fight. Im just ruining his day by not letting him get were he wants to go.
2. If I am with a single friend or two from my kin at the rez, we are looking for 1v1s. I will always stand back unless;
A. You run.
B. Someone joins, in which I will kill the one coming.
3. For all freeps. If I am 1v1'ing and you stroll up hoping to grab dibs on it. I WILL STAND BACK AND LET WHOEVER IM FIGHTING FIGHT YOU. Imo 2v1 is not fair and I have no fun or satifaction in crushing someone, unless its in a fair fight.
4. Im out here for fun.Period.

What I noticed about spiders, is that by rank 1 you have most of the skills you really need to kill the melee classes. And the next step that helps is rank5 for the speed buff trait and Web the Earth.

When i was playing as a warg in Ettenmoors for some time i had a nice ''fight'' with a hunter(dont remember his name)
I was only rank 2 i think
The hunter tracked me and start shooting arrows on me, each time decreasing my morale
I didnt fight but i start running back to TA(which was under monster players control) but the hunter kept chasing me and shooting arrows all the way inside TA! He aggroed one Troll and some other orc npcs until he got defeated by them and i had left with very few morale
That was fun and funny

Later I ran into him at grams with all my CDs up again, and again was put in my place. So I take my helmet off to you, oh tool of the Empire, and look forward to another chance to sharpen my skills on such a hard wetstone. P.S. I should have my "The Warrior" Title tonight. If you on I will be tracking you down for the 510th KB. XD

In other news I have lost 4 fights with Neren over the last 4 days or so and let me just say that it's bee good to see a Champion who really knows how to fight a Warleader.
In our last match I got the drop on him and didn't realize I was in Commanders Stance! /facepalm
But, surprise surprise, I was able to get a few heals off while in that stance before switching to go for the burst DPS race. Was just about to fire off another wave of yells (hopefully dropping him down to ~1000) when I took a Relentless Crit to the face. I will definately have to re-examine how I have been fighting Champions.
Oh and I ran into a 60 Hobbit Burg and wasted about half an hour emoting with the little guy.

ive seen stardestroyer around about 3 times solo in the last 3 months or so, never finish the 1v1. He either moves into a keep or a bridge when near death.
I guess he does so since i kite him a little.
*small note to stardestroyer*
A burg along with other classes have to kite high ranked reavers unless they want to die 100% of the time because comparing your reaver to my burg
- you have 2-3k more morale than me
- you do bigger melee dmg than me
- you have near 2x more mitigations/armour than me
so basically all i have above the reaver class is CC (which most of the times gets resisted and potted out of)
I rarely use even half my CDs in a 1v1 and it seems you wont even fight me unless I start out of stealth and you charging at me, so if I kite you its your own fault for not using the number 1 rule of pvp "snare first"
dont get me wrong though he is the 3rd most hardest reaver on this server to take down 1v1 imo
Our (reaver) slow is awful (and doesn't land often). You can at least bump up DITE range with a legacy.Quote:

I find trick kiting kind of lame and a very slow fight. Yeah if you have it maxed out with LIs, you're probably going to win the fight.. eventually. You can't blame a reaver from just going 'whatever' and moving on. I can usually get high ranked reavers to around 2k before having to hips, then I try to follow up with a huge surprise strike and a few hits to seal the deal. So that's at least 2 CDs (TnG, iHIPs) and a potion in any successful reaver fight.Quote:

To my buddies creepside, I suppose you saw me on *gasps* two legs last eve. Fear not, madness has not over taken me. I chose to come freepside to show some sense of support of the members of my kinship, (Titans) and to help give you guys some good open field fights.
I think my favorite fight was at the TR HS where I found myself running in circles behind Leekae, throwing heal after heal and IHW on him. My home creeps never fail to deliver the good fight. Thanks guys, see you back on four feet this evening.
Exactly. It's not worth fighting a burg. You have to sit there dealing with the frequent stuns and mezzes, the dust, and their incredibly stupid 30 second evade buff, all for them to just hips and run away. The next patch will make this even worse.Quote:

Agreed. Burgs have absolutely no right to expect 1v1s from anyone. I don't 1v1 burgs--ever. There's simply no point: DiTE, DiTE, DiTE, stun, stun, stun, mez, stun DiTE. And, if you ARE winning, they HiPS and it's over--no infamy for joo. I find it completely bizarre that any burg would criticize any creep for running when losing a 1v1. I've never once known a burg not to HiPS when in trouble. When burgs start taking the death in the interest of deference to a fight well fought rather than HiPsing and leaving, only then can they criticize a creep for running to NPCs or anything else.Quote:

On a 1v1 note had a nice 1v1 with bupkiss and mawz and the warg pack.
had a couple fun 1v1s against Gaelbo tonight...got my butt kicked, but definitely learned a few things. :)

I'm so jealous! I would love to 1v1 Dine or SSS, let alone both.
Re: burg fights. If you know the players well (personally or from an experience), you will know which burgs will hips away and which won't. Anasasi/Nyxx here for example will never bail out of a fair fight, at least from my experience.
I tried to 2v1 them and failed miserably... lol I think that's impossible but yes fighting them 1v1 was fun :D
I just wanted to give thanks to Buppkiss for not attacking once I went LD tonight as well as Nandrolone for not continuing our fight once a random defiler came along healing.
I had a few interesting comments today about 1v1 interruptions so sadly I really have nothing to add to this thread any further save on thing.
To the rage loggers, I came back looking. No dice, maybe next time. :confused:

Cel/Ech/other burg - dangerous trio/quartet you had roaming around. :p Definitely not a favorable engagement for two reavers!

Also Postoffice on his spider and reaver.
Also was witness to an epic 1v1 that lasted a looooooong time with Ugmog and Radar.
I had a nice 1v1 with Radarastriel.
Even though I lost, as I expected, I was SO HAPPY with how I did, I've never ever imagined to do this good against a good RK on my spider, let alone Radarastiel (IMO he's got to be one of the best)
