Or we could swing it the other way and let crippling bite, hamstring, burning embers, barbed arrows and the like all stack and everyone could stand still and watch ranged classes plink everyone. That's an awesome idea.

Snare is a form of Crowd Control, it prevents melee classes from getting close and prevents ranged classes from getting distance. CC doesn't mean loss of control, or roots wouldn't be CC.

Usually I tend to avoid the monster forums as it is very difficult to carry on a civil discussion about something, but it seems that those people linger in other places as well.

Nothing to do with tense, if anything its just making something look completely blown out of proportion.
It's pretty rare case when that many Burgs are in the Moors on our server, and it wasent mentioned that like all debuffs from burgs there is a diminishing return so every dite after about the 3rd was not doing anything at all, unless you have 200% run speed and 100% accuracy.

Those that havent experienced Lotr need to first know this is not a PvP game... Once that lil gem of knowledge gets sunk in, you pretty much shake your head at all the complaining and pleas for nurfs on PvE jobs.

1-20%
2-36%
3-48.8%
4-59%
5-67.2%

So, yes it's not 20 and will never hit 0 but I'd say it's fairly effective up to 5

There was a grand total of 3... Haknit (rank 4) , his brother Venom (rank 3) and a Green Blackarrow (Rank 1).
