Game Related: I started playing shortly after LotRO went live. I started out playing a guardian on the Arkenstone server, but after getting up to lvl 33 I switched to a champion, who was my main since then. Last year I decided to switch to Landroval and brought my champ here and leveled up a new hunter this year, who is now my main. I also have a lvl 53 minstrel that I'm trying to level up as well. As far as PvMP goes, I did a little bit of it on Arkenstone, but didn't really play a lot until a couple of months ago, so I'm not a nub to the game, but am still kind of a nub in the Moors. My hunter is now about to hit R6 and my champ is about to hit R5. I also have a warg and a reaver and am enjoying getting a taste of the creepy side of the game. I like the creep community a lot so far.

Personal: I'm probably older than most people who play. I've lived a lot of different places due to being a military brat, serving in the military, and other job changes since then. I'm married to someone who hates this game and hates me playing it, which causes me to go AFK at random and inappropriate times as I must deal with my r/l Balrog. I do own a real schnauzer, who is much friendlier and much less fierce-looking than my in-game version. Graduated from West Point ... any other grads out there?

Hmm, how to sum up . . guess y'all get the long version.
Played AC1 for a few years. Tried AC2, liked it but we (family) had money issues. Eventually dropped AC1 for the same reason.
Family's been playing LOTRO since near the end of Open Beta. We all started out as founders, but we had problems with switching credit card info and now only one of us (dad) is still a founder. Sigh. But anyway, we started on Brandywine and have been there since the beginning.
I've had a lot of fun with this game, and it was the family addiction for a while, but I almost always play support classes and can't maintain much enthusiasm for solo play; and once our family started spending less time playing together (conflicting work schedules) my characters mostly stopped leveling. We had a brief boost when Moria came out but my mini main, Reina, has been stuck at 57 for a long while. Lately I've just been farting around on low-level alts, trying out other classes.
I was getting frustrated just running around killing things and dying a lot. So, I thought of a way to spice things up: I'd do more roleplay! I made new characters on Landroval and started playing them more than any others. I didn't interact that much with other people, but it was still fun coming up with crazy backgrounds and trying to think like these crazy people while doing quests.
Now, right after launch (as I recall) I tried rolling a creep but really, really sucked at it. I came back for a month or so after Defilers came out, but still really, really sucked. (Thus, my odd gaps in PvMP knowledge - I only learned some and forgot half of it.) A few months after I moved my attention to Landroval, though, I thought I'd try making a few creeps. After all, I did have fun memories of the few raids I'd been in on back on BW. Much to my shock, I enjoyed it a lot. . . and fairly consistently too. I also had more regular interaction with people on creepside than I did PvEing with my lowbies.
So, for the last month or so, I've been running around with my defiler Kholeruk and various alt creeps. (I <3 alts) I'm getting some fun in chatting with people, I'm learning not to run away at the first sight of a horse, and I'm starting not to get too dismayed by dying, even.


Personal info:
I'm 25 years old, currently unemployed. I'm a geeky girl who was raised in a geeky house, yay! Dad was USAF so we moved around a bit, and I do have some problems staying connected to friends.
I'm technically pretty smart, but very foolish. I also tend to be rather obtuse - I'm not stupid, I just don't always connect the dots :P Sorry if I have misunderstood something you were trying to say.
I have a chemical disorder that makes me depressed all the time. Money issues mean that I don't always have my medication, either. After a week or two of no pills, I become convinced (emotionally anyway) that I am a horrible failure of a person and everything bad is my fault and wah wah cry cry. I also have a hard time focusing. I've got great friends and family though, and I've had a few years to understand what's happening and learn how to deal with it, so I usually keep from getting TOO down. It's just one of those weird little problems that everybody has, I guess.
Oh, and I'm currently helping run a rabbitry. We breed fancy rabbits for pets. They're really, really cool animals I think :3

My captain has no rad gear at all, nor any good gear, so in addition to my general suckiness, I should be an easy target. But I'll totally buff you, so there's that to look forward to! Whenever Turbine handles transfers - it hasn't been that long since I requested.

Ew. Thats a shame. Despite what a lot of people may think, want to be an effective freep, you've got to put in those hours for gear.

Game Related:
When the game launched I was playing mostly for crafting and was one of the first GM metalsmith on the server. I had my full mirrored set long before the beryl shard era. I have stopped doing crafting since it's now the suxxor. As for things related to PvMP, I completely stopped leveling for a while when I discovered the moors. After ~2 months I switched creeps side and my freep play has been mostly raiding Helegrod/Rift/annuminas.

Personal:
I'm a coffee addict. In my office we are building a replacement to the twin towers with empty Tim Hortons cups. A developer's life ain't easy... One day I should take a picture to show our accomplishment.

I hate when my cats come around me and walk on my keyboard during PvMP battle.

Played the game from launch as an Elf Hunter. Ripped shyt up in the Moors Freepside and was one of the original Star huggers. Only old school Landrovalites remember me, and of those few, only some remember playing with me - but they will attest that I was da freakin' bomb yo.

Switched to Creepside, liked the community better, more of a challenge, and wanted to get away from the stat based, gear-based mentality. Haven't looked back.
