We are still looking for a few new members
Most of us are still here.
We have a group of EU members who are looking for more to join them.

See the original post in this thread for more details.

Thanks Meriana for this cool pipe weed.

    Re: Bastion of Light Kinship

Hello! It was a pleasant surprise for my band of travelers to cross paths with your Kinship's Meet and Greet last night in front of the Pony. We had made a long walk there from Hobbiton and planned to play a few songs before we retired to the Inn, so it was exciting for us to find a gathering already in place. I just hope we didn't impose on your event!

Our band usually gets together around 10pm eastern each Wednesday, performing music between Hobbiton and Bree. Next week we'd planned for our first full set (20min of music) in the Prancing Pony square there. But now I wonder if our plans might conflict with your Kinship event? Or perhaps they might work well together?

We only plan to do a Bree show once per month, so it may be a non-issue. But it was a pleasure to see you all there last night. Perhaps we'll meet again!

    Re: Bastion of Light Kinship

Our EU player base is growing and the more to come the easier will get to make groups for instances and raids.

Too bad we can't listen to your concert, time zones conflict too much for us.

I'm into music too and after learning all the instruments I'm planning to start playing with others kin member when we get the chance. Most of the songs I have now have been downloaded from LOTROABC and The Fat Lute, Chiran's Songbook works wonders when it comes to integrate then into the game.

Any advice on where to find good ABC files other than there?

We had another good turn out to the Meet & Greet event tonight.

@Gemer it was nice to see you at the Meet & Greet the other night. Here is a pic of your performance.

Check out Bastion of Light! http://www.bastionoflight.guildlaunch.com or our Lorebook page.

We have recently added members at level cap as well as some new to LOTRO or seeking a new kin while leveling up. We are friendly and supportive, and our activity has increased at a time when many kins are quieter. We enjoy questing, deeds, and crafting, but are very much combat-capable! We are currently farming 3-toon Isengard instances and Limlight Gorge, and can form balanced groups of 6 most evenings and weekends. We are always willing to get back into Carn Dum/Urugarth, Goblin Town, or Moria in support of kinmates coming up.

Kinchat is family-friendly but a good sense of humour is valued! Join us at Meet & Greet on Wednesdays outside the Prancing Pony at 10:00pm Eastern, or join the 'Bastionoflight' chat channel and ask for an Officer.

With six months or so until the Riders of Rohan expansion, make sure you ride with the right cohort!
