Rubber banding the last couple of weeks! - Solved

Not sure why - I do not use a router now, removed all my firewall protection, played fine before this started - even through a router (Linksys WRV200).

When I run tracert it says:
Tracing route to gls.lotro.com [206.16.13.82] over a maximum of 30 hops:
    1 Transmit error: code 65.
    Trace Complete.

Pingplotter - although I wasn't in game with this info - I will do that later

I log in and start moving and keep jumping back. Eventually I can't run anymore and am stuck - but I can still turn in circles and see the chat. I have tried to play every night for about a week now but cannot because of this problem. What else do I need to post to get some help? I am not a network expert so this is new to me.

I have played all of the following MMORPG's without a problem like this: AC, WoW, EQ2. I recognize lag and this is nothing like that. This is a great game and I want back in )

    Thanks!

Re: Rubber banding the last couple of weeks!

I googled Transmit error: code 65.

    The two most seen suggestions:

    1) If you ever had Zonealarm firewall installed it did not get uninstalled correctly.

    2) uninstall then reinstall your network card .

Zonealarm had been uninstalled, but Truevector was still running. Had to do a safeboot to remove Truevector and some other remnants of Zonealarm.

Will try again tonight since I didn't have time to test yet.

    Thanks!
