I'm sure it's already been mentioned in this thread, but if you're wondering about how to be a more effective tank, I highly recommend the Marchwarden Guide to Tanking (found here: http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Warden:_Tanking_Guide) I used it and it greatly improved my tanking: my kinship is always willing to take me as main tank to whatever instance.

The most useful advice I can give you is to take the time to be familiar with your gambits: which build single-target aggro versus which are multi-target. Which are threat over time versus simple threat, etc. The "math" section of the tanking guide helps a good bit: it gives pretty clear info on how different threat skills work.

    Good luck!

Vilya, well that explains a lot.

ASF is all about negativity - their name is even anti. I prefer the positive message of Steve. He is awesome, we are awesome.

Now why can't we all just agree to disagree and stop acting like champions?

    +rep for the positive message.

Edit: Oh wow, I just discovered that if you quote a post, and you're first words after the quoted person are "+rep," you get a new button that submits the post -and- gives rep to the person you're quoting. That's handy.

Actually, Aggie08 is correct. It is a simile, which (to use Wikipedia) is:

"A simile is a figure of speech comparing two unlike things, often introduced with the words "like" or "as".[1] Even though similes and metaphors are both forms of comparison, similes allow the two ideas to remain distinct in spite of their similarities"

However, I understand that language is a less than perfect medium, and misunderstandings are common. Trust me that I am trying to say that we should not mimic this most un-wardenlike behavior, and using champions as an example of what can happen when one chooses the path of negativity.

all this civil war must stop!

a warden forum divided against its self can not stand.

we have all walked the way of the warden. we must have fi-sp-sh and sh-fi-sh-fi-sh to come to a fi-sp-sh-fi.

some you fi-fi one another and some stand in fi-sp-fi-sp-fi but to preform a sh-fi-sh-fi to fellow wardens is despicable and will leave the warden community in fi-sh-fi-sh-fi.

we must work toward a sh-sp-sh-sp-sh and sh-sp-sh ourself's against the fi-sh-fi-sh if we continue with the sp-sh-sp on each other.

Super -rep for looking down on Vilya Wardens, and for being pro-Steve, and for calling us Champions! You hit the negative rep trifecta.

Amen, brother, amen. +rep for making me think

    <sigh>
I do not look down on Vilya wardens. Having the ASF start in a Vilya chat does explain why both you and Marchwarden are among the first to speak of it though, which is what I was referring to.

I did not call anyone a champion. Please read the previous post about similes.

As for being pro-Steve. I carry the banner proudly, and only repond with this: You and LtDiablo are throwing negative rep at me for what? Holding onto a positive message?

Steve was summoned when negativity invaded our boards. It is ironic (or not) that those who oppose Steve do so with negativity. I choose a different path.

Civil war culls out the weak. You must choose sides in the inevitable war against the PSF. Bystanders have no chance of survival.
