Are you sure we're thinking of the right victory theme? :P There are several, after all. I'll recheck the notes

EDIT: Just double checked it, even set my keys to default so I know I'd be playing it 1:1 - it's correct. If it doesn't have a C or S next to it, it's just a regular 1-8. So if I have C76, that means C7 6, not C7 C6.

That's what I think messed me up. I'd do a C7 C6 thinking to save yourself time you put both #'s that needed to be C'd right after just one C.

I've yet to finish transcribing it, but Mad World by Gary Jules fits within the octaves available (though unfortunately, is missing a couple of sharps since the high C scale has none).

I do not mean to complain, but...

I can 10-key faster than most people can type. I have my music set to play with 1-8 on the 10-key. Is it possible to also post the 1-8, c1-8, s1-8 in addition to the q-i, a-k, etc. Not everyone finds that style easier to play.

Unfortunately, we haven't reached a concensus about how to post scripts here yet. So when you see a script with numbers, it's probably the default keymapping.

I'm suggesting we wait til the devs "big patch" - which may offer some clues as to a preferred keymapping - before we start smacking anyone upside the head.

good song, but can you post in STANDARD (1-8 C1-8 S1-8 or 1-24) for your songs? alot of stuff to translate there, alot easier for the poster to put numbers from the get go.
