went to myblogadmin -> settings -> permalinks,

then choose 1 and appears: You should update your .htaccess now.

What this means?

From what i remember from my webdev days .htaccess is largely to do with server permissions and such....

It's a file with some configurations for the web server. It needs to be updated if you activate the permalinks (make urls more readable). Don't worry about it, this is already done it seems and Turbine will never let you do this yourself.

It's part of the default configuration we have on the blog. I assume it's to limit what we can change and what we cannot, to maintain the looks of the blogs the same.
