    Wardens and CC

OK, decided to give the tanking spots in ToO this weekend to wardens since wardens are 'fixed' (in that they don't go splat in seconds on a raid boss). During the trash pulls, the mezz's kept getting broken by warden DOT's. How do you guys:

    1) Handle the CC so that it doesn't get broken by warden DOT's?

    2) Handle the tanking so that wardens don't break CC?

Given that EoB is essentially a must at the beginning of a pull, I am struggling on how to integrate wardens with a CC heavy strat.

Get some distance from the CC target before you fire off EoB. Its only a 6.2m range, so you don't have to be real far away.
    Strategy A (2 EoBs):
    1) Pull
    2) Mobs get CCed/Use Goad directionally (Or just fire it off at >10m range. If you are mezzing left, turn to the right for Goad to avoid CCing mobs, but still procing the BM)
    3) Move away from CCed mobs/build EoB (Fi[ShSp][FiSh] or [FiSh][ShFi][ShSh])
    4) Fire off EoB away from CCed mobs.
    5) BM: Fire off EoB

    Strategy B (1 EoB)
    1) Battle Prep, ending with EoB prepped to go.
    2) Pull with javelin skills. Let mobs come to you while CC mezzes them.
    3) Fire off EoB away from CCed mobs before the group all runs to the hunter

As mobs break CC and are re-mezzed they will probably move closer, you will need to move to maintain your distance.

Harp is right on. If your tank setup is 2 wardens it is probably a bad idea. If it is a Warden and something else it is arguably the best idea. But two wardens would be kinda tough at least until our single target threat mechanics get a revisit.

Thanks Harperella, I was thinking it was something like that would work. We were running 2 wardens (as opposed to a single guard or dual guard we usually run) and we just couldn't keep anything mezzed. I will take the suggestions to our wardens and see how it goes.
