New adive on the Hunter (Old Player Returning)

Hail and well met, took a hiatus 10 months ago from LOTRO for many reasons. The main I was fed up with other classes being able to do my job better as a DPS'ers. So I went to a few other places but wound up back here. I was Pre Release of RoR so I know nothing of the expansion and am just now getting back into the swing of things. My question is, has there been any major revamps to the hunter class other than mounted combat which I will read up on later. Are we still considered 2nd rate for DPS behind the Rune Keepers and Champs and lesser extent Lore Masters? Any other helpful advice would be nice to. Thanks for any feed back

No major revamp besides mounted combat.
Tier 1 dps as far as I can tell though...

No major changes, we still give single target dps just cutting slightly over rune-keepers and other dps classes. 2013 is told to bring some revamps to each class, so we are hoping that some of our broken pieces are fixed (Secondary Role, Trapper of Foes etc)

No changes. Well played RKs and Champs still roflstomp our DPS most of the time.

Good champs will usually beat a good hunter (barely) and great RKs will usually beat a good hunter. Equal skill, only the champ should be winning.

LMs ever having DPS even close to a hunter is news to me, and I've been playing both at cap since OD days. If an LM ever outdoes your DPS for longer than say, 7 seconds, you should probably just delete your hunter.
