For those of you in the Dallas Fort Worth area. QuakeCon 2013 is happening Aug 1-4 in Dallas. It is free to the public and they have tons of gaming related companies who set up booths, have people who come and talk about their games and technology..also they come to peddle their wares. Also swag from almost all of them. Gaming tournaments everywhere and a huge Bring Your Own computer area. It would be nice if some Devs showed up for some of their southern players....http://www.quakecon.org/

2,000 people have reserved a seat in the BYOC area. It is a sight to see 2,000 computers hooked up together. I live here in the DFW area so I should be there a few hours each day. It is also a good place to buy new gear since they are usually discounted off retail prices. If you see "Puvii" don't be shy and say hi, unless your a creep.
