Hail Nimrodlians!

I and a few others from different kins are going to be hosting a server wide event which we hope will encourage people to meet others in the community.

It will be a big event starting in Bree at the Prancing Pony, to meet others in the Nimrodel community and to have fun over a few activities. It will be on Monday the 26th August at 14:00pm EST (server time).
Here is the timetable:


Event timings:
13:45: Guests arrive and socialise
14:00: Band 1 (name to be decided)
14:15: Band 2 (Flock and Roll)
14:30: Bree number competition
15:00: Parade to the fields
15:15: 1v1 Sparring madness

Great idea for an event. Just a question: What's a Bree Number Competition?

Publicizing this to my kin via an all-hands mail. Hope we get a good turnout.

Well, tbh, we did not know what to call it, so we settled on that name

Basically, questions will be read out in the user chat channel such as: 'How many X are in Y behind Z?'. first person to search bree and /tell me the answer wins that round. prizes given after round 10.... it's gonna be manic to say the least xD

The user chat channel that the event will be on can be accessed by typing: '/joinchannel party' in chat.

I concur that 2:00 PM on Monday server time (11:00 AM) for West Coasters is a bit of an odd time for this. Quite a few in the community are in North America and have jobs and/or school, or meetings with our parole officers.

Yup, I 110% agree, and would have much preferred to have it on Saturday, had the situation allowed... Also, 3/4 of our organisers are in Europe, so it's practically as late as it can be for them.

Today's server wide event was amazing! over 50 people from various kins attended throughout the show, making it a huge success! A big shout out to Hilrond and his band, Harnelwen and her band, Arifbey, Aralus and Ryuukenshi of Nimrodel for assisting greatly in the organisation and implementation of the event! It was a night to remember, full of laughs, music, fighting and fun!
